Does job opportunity is a problem if I were to take degree in Oil and Gas?

Firstly take some english courses. Not many firms will hire you with that kind of english.

Well I don't mean to sound mean and discouraging but try to imagine I don't know you and I notice many grammatical errors in your resume and cover letter. I will probably think because you are incompetent in english who knows what else you can't do. And most engineering jobs are really people job. If you piss off the wrong people or client with bad communication you and your boss can get into trouble.

So not knowing you but just from your bad command of English through your resume, most bosses might thank themselves for noticing that and not hire you. You are not in uni yet right? You have a couple of years to improve your english anyway.

Next resistance is at 55.02. If market don't break it, it may not move higher in the meantime.

If you are in equipment and machinery industry do you have experience in rotating? If you do it is easy to find work in O and G.

But rotating pays well whether you are in OnG or not...

Speaking as a person with an engineering degree, I think engineering degrees are cheap and abundant in Malaysia due to over supply. However it is a chance be trained in a high demand career that pays well. So if you are going to invest 4 years plus lots of $$ on that degree do consider the risk and reward.

My impression is 3.0 is not easy to find a job but 3.1 is easy.....

My opinion if you are adventurous...

Join a small vendor company, learn project management in and out. From dealing with the contractor, client, costing, project management to tendering for jobs. Form your own company register it with Petronas and start biding for jobs. If you get to this point your technical skills is not important, most important from here on is networking. (more but too long to write here)

I know 2 person in their 20s come out and do this after 1+ year of experience with the vendor. Make sure you join the small vendor as a project engineer or a position where you are the front man for the project then you will learn everything.

One of the person I know bought a new fair lady with cash after 3 years providing service with his company and he is still in his 20s. True story. Its no guarantee but it is a shot at something.
