Recently the rear speaker in my wira sedan kaput....
went to shop they said need to replace....so i went to a few shops and look around for suggestion. Had a few audition but not pretty sure which one to choose...

Btw i'm in JB, any nice audio shop to recommend here? Last time i install HU and RF's tweeters, the shop install sampai got hiss sound now...very pekcek...

a pair of Rottweiler(??) speaker...didn't audition, priced at RM260

I'm looking for a pair of ok quality 6x9 speakers, budget around <400. Which can still be used when i install amp in the near future. (might be agako XT series<--nice?) I listen to wide range of music but especially fond of rock music. Don't really need a boombox. Just need to be nice and not too high pitch sounds from the speaker.

jensen speaker 6X9????if 6X9 nt expensive la...good 1 around rm300

erm...u go to the shop n ask laa...they will recommend....if u put too loud,u cant listen ur woofer sound

Anyway , i also listen to rock musics..

Why don't you get 2 component sets? One set front and one set rear.. Then 4 channels amp to power it.. Add 2pcs 10" woofer or single 12" woofer so your component set won't work so hard for bass.. can tahan longer...

erm...2 component set also can....i also use like tat......

if u plan to put amp n woofer in future den ur 6X9 will advise not to use. coz the bass from 6X9 and woofer mixed will not nice listen.

I don't have a woofer right now....

coz of budget constraint i can only do it step by step....
so to u i should:
1) Change my spoilt 6x9 to component
2) add an amp for those components
3) add an monoblock amp
4) add a woofer

are these steps in correct order ar?

will 2 component set sound quality better a component set in front + 6x9 behind?
without the use of woofer...?

so currently i just change to component at behind..then when got budget baru add amp & woofer...is this wat u mean??

i'm from JB...

yupe, 1 shot get a good 1 is better than u keep changing when got budget. it will cause u a big amount at the end.

Are Pioneer 6x9 speaker series worth our budget range?

Btw any feedback about using those 4" Tube Subwoofer?
