I just added a feature to prompt you about your garage sales threads if you haven't bumped it in the past 7 days. Clicking "yes" bumps your thread, and "no" will close it.

The main reason behind this feature is to ensure that threads in our garage sales aren't outdated. Eventually I will code a feature to auto-close garage sales threads that haven't been bumped for a month.

For threads closed for more than a month, I originally planned to auto-delete them, but after hearing your feedback I think we can keep them around and exclude them from search results instead. These threads can be moved to a garage sales read-only archive.

And a question, can an user has authority to close his/her own thread?

Yup, users have authority to close their own threads.

This feature is only for threads in garage sales. Once you take action on a thread by clicking yes/no, you won't be bothered again for another 7 days.
