Would like to ask for suggestion on hardwares. I am currently building a gaming pc that is able to play atleast Dragon Age:Inquisition in mid to high spec.
Currently I already have monitor, keyboard and mouse. My budget is around RM2000-RM2500 and planning to build using AMD as the processor.

Ur budget actually able to build a Intel Core i5 gaming rig as well...

I come from a time where AMD is more powerful for gaming than Intel...haha.
Since than really have not catch on the newest development on processors.

Now no longer... A quad core i5 would outperform most FX chips, bar the power hungry FX-9000 series.

AMD? You'll get this lackluster performance for most games.

Not really... Some games are beginning to take advantage of multiple CPU threads, which makes AMD chips somewhat favorable...

However, bear in mind that going AM3+ will mean there will be no upgrade path for this platform, unless TS is willing to switch to Intel.

Yup, but games in the future are taking advantage of more threads.

Also, DA:I favors Intel chips.

Our price and the favoritism already makes it hard to recommend AMD.

Yup, moreover the limited selection of decent AMD boards makes it even harder to recommend.

This board is notoriously known for very poor VRMs.

...and that's with stock clocks. You'll have to clock the FX-8320 chip to something like 4.8-5.0GHz in order to match a 4770K on stock.

Like you said, "match". With ridiculous amount of power consumption. Third party heatsink and bigger power supply may even i7-4790K without third party heatsink on total cost.
