Been digging Nintendo's history recently...unbelievable...this company has been around over 100 years since 1889!!!!
The original Nintendo name/logo  It means "Entrusted to Heaven" in Cantonese..."Yam Tin Tong" In Mandarin ...."Ren Tien Tang"  http://blog.beforemario.com/2012/03/ninten...ough-years.html They started out as a game card playing company and Mario didn't happen until the late 70's or early 80's. They were building electronic toy before start investing to create a home console.
