1:888 is quite odd, what broker is that? I usually see 1:500, 1:1000, etc.

Hi sir, thank you for your reply and it is very much appreciated!
I would like to ask how did you start your journey from where and how did you start? So that I can have some ideas to follow and take advises. ( Ps : I'm also quite new to lowyat and have no idea how to type those pretty emoticons I saw u all use >.<)

Trading is not easy, it involves a lot of arts and intelligence. Pick any job in this world, doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc., majority of the people who studied them could become one. Let's say 100 people study medicine, majority of them will become doctors, or maybe half? Not sure, but many will.
However, trading is different, in 100 people, I would say only 1 person could make it. Some say 5%, but the really profitable ones are probably less then 1%.

You can start off with http://www.babypips.com/school

In essence, trading involves 3 components:
1. An edge (A system or trading method which works)
2. Money management
3. Psychology (Discipline)

How do I trade? Sorry I'm not gonna expose any information about this. Hahaha

I got this technique based from my bursting experience and so far so good. Making money. Works.

Actually I can make more than 100k USD per month but if broker see you keep withdrawing, they will stop it and said your account is terminated due to some bla bla bla..

So I do set a limit for now. Not worth it when that issue happen. Pls take note bout it too. Broker have all the speaking power.
*
If you could make that much, change your broker. Go for Interactive Brokers, Dukascopy, LMAX, or Currenex brokers. You withdraw USD$1 million a month also no problem.

haha. Don't have the seriousness feeling when trade demo. I prefer trade with 0.01 lot size in real account and do testing from there.  biggrin.gif

If you are just starting, it's better to demo first. It is psychologically better. Because if you keep on losing, you will be emotionally affected and you will hate forex, and you will leave forex. Demoing is the best way to preserve and protect your equity.

With a 10 Million, I would put in the bonds or blue chip stock which pay good dividends.

Most forex robot are risky and useless due to most of them are using martingale system. What do you guys think? I think they are mostly scam and just selling their so called robot to naïve consumers.

For those who don't understand.
-A Martingale System is a method of gambling where you double your bet each time you lose. Many EAs and some other forex trading systems use this method.

Imagine that you bet 1 dollar on a coin coming up heads. If you lose, you bet 2 dollars the next time. If you lose again, you bet 4 dollars. If you win that time, you win 4 dollars and have lost 3 dollars, so you come out 1 dollar ahead.-
*
A robot which is based on martingale strategy is very risky. There are profitable robots, but people will not sell them. I have created many robots too, but so far, I have only one which is genuinely profitable, but nothing beats manual trading, so I still manually trade.

By the way, robot results can be easily manipulated by curve fittings.

whoa nice~! biggrin.gif wonder what u mean by curve fittings? still learning here ^^
*
For example you have a MA crossover system. 50-200 EMA crossover. You try it on EURUSD from 2013-2014, and it is not profitable. You will then optimise (find the best combination) on that period and let's say you found that 59-189 EMA crossover to be profitable. This is called curve fitting, because when you use it on 2013-2014, it's profitable, but there is no certainty that it will work in 2015.

Why use robot? Trade manually even better. Just let it auto TP.. That's more than enough.

Best feeling ever when woke up saw all TP laugh.gif

True, manual trade is better for me too.

One shouldn't rely 100% on robots. Even Ed Seykota, one of the best traders if not the best, will interfere or alter his robot's executions.

Thanks for the reply bros..
I am having consistent profits every month (talking about 2000 to 3000 pips through Xau). However, out of the trades in a month, I will face some losses due to the stop loss hit.... So i took some initiative to investigate the influence of stop-loss.. When you say protect your capital 3 times? what do they mean?
*
2k to 3k pips a month trading Gold. That's a lot. Manual trade or robot?

Good day guys. I am sorry if i am in the wrong thread. I just wanna ask some opinion. Heard of Sam Billionaire Club? A friend of mine plan to pump in 39K USD (sharing with few friends) to Sam to trade. Is this guy genuine trader? I saw his FB i think he related with hafizat the prince of forex. Please give advice. Thank you guys
*
Bro, Hafizzat the guy with Lamborghinis and Ferraris? I am not sure about Sam, but I think Hafizzat is very successful. How much return they offer you?

EDIT: Just saw that he promised a 100% return. Not sure how consistent it is going to be. Maybe you can ask for their track record.

Hi, it is manual trade... XAU normally quite easy to get pips.. of course it comes with risks...

that's also another reason that i asked about stop-loss..
*
Stoploss is very important. But you will get stopped out if you place it wrongly. For me, if the security spikes a lot, I will place my stop a bit far away. I will exit using mental stops before the price reaches the real stop. If you are scalping, then this is easy because you will be looking at the screen all the time, in fact, you don't actually need a stoploss. But it's better to put them in case of power/internet failure.

Even my private investment group I din GUARANTEE them 100% SURE profit. They invest at a risk and got their right to check the balance daily.

This is fishy already bro but let see how other traders comment.

Bro, can you PM me your track record/statement. I might want to invest some amount if I think it is profitable. Thanks.
