probability is guessing...

nope probability is stacking the odds to your favor,
fundamentals, market sentiment, technical analysis,
all adds up together as you go, if you aren't thinking in
probabilities when you trade, you should start

What is the difference between forex trading and currency futures?
I looked up the definition and understand that futures is a contract, but couldn't find how trading currency futures is more beneficial than trading the spot forex market.

From the brokers that I can found, forex trading executes immediately when u click buy/sell button and close immediately when u click "close" button. No time limitation for most brokers. This means you can open a trade now and close it next years.

For future, obviously from the word "future", u enter the trade(BUY OR SELL) in future but not now, but you can put a pending trade now. the pending trade will not execute immediately. In some condition, there is a time limitation that ur trade can be automatic closed because of time expiration in the contract. Such thing can be considered as classical method and has appeared since long time ago, because that time they don't have broadband, that is why they have to trade in the "future" price.

It is depend on ppl preference. Some ppl like fast game, some ppl like slow game.

Whenever theres a earth quake in japan, japanese yen, USD & Swiss CHF will rise.

Lol... let me share my pov.

I'm refering japan earth quake because during that period chf was defended by the central bank (cb). We have seen many cases that whenever cb start to defend currency they tend to give up. Ie: pound vs soros & our RM vs the short... i think from these cases we can clearly see chf defending will fall short sooner or later.

There are few occasions from there on that the cb of chf given out statement that they will defend chf and the movements were hectic, only to return to it's previous move. I just can be surprised with the recent moves.. lol...

As for jpy, i believe it is manipulated/defended and i'm not gonna get myself in for any suprises wink.gif

Yes it is true technically.
fundamentally, here's what i think; there have been news of usd interest rate increase. Last friday i think the usd cpi is in good position if not better, that will be a fuel for the move as the fed might increase interest as being said earlier. This is sign of good economic of US, demand of usd will soar. But do be careful of suprises wink.gif
