This is not how fundamental sifus work. We don't predict speeches. We follow the trend that the comments in the speech will set but never try to predict. It all depends on whether his comments would sound dovish or hawkish to the traders.

The worse fundamentals to trade are speeches and comments. They can swing a trade at any moment. These are not fixed figures that is released but comments than can change in a few minutes.

That is how you can't become a good trader. You are trading on feelings with no analysis. Getting the feelings and emotions out of the way is the biggest hurdle to overcome which no training course can help. This will lead to fear of entry. If your analysis has no conclusion on the direction, then it is ok to stay out of a trade. To say feeling not right then don't trade, then you are going to be in a world of hurt.

There is always an opportunity to trade and it all depends on your timeframe. A scalper will always find something to trade on the 1 min chart. Long term traders will do more analysis and come up with trading strategies similar to those of the banks.

One thing you need to keep in mind. The people who moves the market don't trade by looking at the screen 24/7. They trade with analysis and already placed pending orders ahead of time. That is how support and resistant lines get formed when the huge pending trades are executed.

well.... mr sleepwalker did highlight few very important points. bravo flex.gif

btw, you need to develop a good trading system (i mentioned this a lot)... irrelevant of time frame; it can give you opportunities to trade. even on the thinnest market.

Guess you're right. When I start to trade to a bigger lot the emotions of trading is VERY different from what I am trading now. Really hard to overcome the feeling.
