QUOTE(gark @ Feb 26 2015, 05:29 PM) Bah.. value not only means $$$ or EPS.. Wah. PE=5..... of course you need to take account of the EPS growth rate.. Example below ... A PE 12x company with declining growth is overvalue... A PE 16x company with good growth rate is undervalue.. A PE 8x company with decent DY% and stagnant growth rate is fairly valued.. My take is on.. Fair value means PE = Dy% + Long term Growth rate % Under value means PE< Dy% + long Term Growth rate % Over value means PE> Dy% + long Term Growth rate % |

QUOTE(Boon3 @ May 30 2015, 09:39 AM) that question needs to be asked cos this phenomenal growth for SHL did not just started.... I think nth can sustain forever. but how far can it go, I sincerely donno.it already happened few years back... so we need to assess if such high growth rate is sustainable or not. so Sungai Long and Sungai Choh HAD been the company goldmine yes? when did this boom in these two areas first started? Normally I pick stock I preferred to go by history. continuously increase in earning and dividend. For the future, I just let the company go by itself. Maybe someone will question me good company will turn bad in the future but I can say good company wont become bad in overnight. It need a period of time and it will also show signal in its cash flow and also earning. So far this method is working for me but I donno for others. |
