Integrax currently own the purposed built coal bulking port which supplies 3 of TNB coal fired plants. TNB currently holds 20% of Integrax as JV, with Perak govt another 20% and with Alim Halim Rasip holding the majority at 25% and have 25 years contract with TNB for coal shipping and debulking at the port.
Currently TNB ships about 3 million tons of coal through the port, and with plans for power plant no 4 and 5 currently building, expected throughput will be 5 million tons of coal per year. Basically Integrax acts like 'toll' for TNB's coal requirements. Almost 95% of integrax income is from debullking coal for TNB, as it was custom built to TNB's requirements.
So once the new powerplants are up, Integrax earning is expected to be boosted >50%. looking at the high margin lucrative business, and also there are no other suitable location for ports nearby (Integrax owns a swath of land around TNB power station) the only way to avoid 'leakage; of profits is to acquire all of Integrax.
Thank you very much for your kind reply. I have a quick look on the quarter report. the profit was increasing.
With the no 4 and 5 in the future > boosted >50% is it going to be a potential company to be invest in long term ?
no wonder why TNB insisi of getting it..

Dude...
You know this is a public forum and that there's no way I want to be involved in TELLING you what to do exactly.
I cannot be responsible for your money.
OK?
Hope we get this off on the right track....
ok?
I tried to understand your first two sentences...
company is on track and facing profit loses due to world market price volatile? And people are panic selling?
Is not saying company having loses, it might just earn lesser.is the company losing money or not?
or earning lesser?
anyway, it doesn't matter....
take a step back...
ask yourself a simple question......
if you know what you think you know about the company NOW....
would you have bought this stock earlier?
Yeah.. an example in skpetrol, O and G sectors, the price is too volatile and when more negative news from the company, people start to panic sell. But the question here is how long will it take to recover the share price ?
Im still very new in the market. When i first bought this counter, the fundamental looks ok to me, but i never expect the oil price will drop until so low ..
after reading all the comment from the sifu here, I wondering should I let go my o&G share before it go further down...
