QUOTE(Boon3 @ Feb 12 2015, 07:23 PM) Petdag profits .... boon issue call to buy ah lat liao, what else should we wait for? cheong ahhhhhhAh Lat profits ..... really strong.... saliva all come out ..... ( Again .... why the other one so like that the other day? ...... it's that difficult laa..... you don't need to be the market whiz... you don't need to be the smartie pants... you don't need to try to outsmart the market all the time.... you certainly don't need the holy grail (for there is none).... all you need to do is to handle the simple decisions .......... |

QUOTE(Boon3 @ Feb 13 2015, 08:55 AM) What I shared was backed by past several years of data..... hmmm this year import company reporting good results... may be different this year... Have you checked? How many times each year, everyone hopes for a pre CNY rally? How many times has it happened? Have you checked? Do check your own data and facts instead of listening to people.... especially people like me, LOL! Where's my spider? *watch while eating popcorn* |

QUOTE(Boon3 @ Feb 24 2015, 09:01 AM) There should be some positive vibes.... pharma is expensive, but fundamentally it's a stable company.Just like the other day.. Ah Lat results went boom and the dead fish Homer followed..... However on fundamentals side.... to compare Hovid with Pharma?? Really? Heaven and Earth laaaaaa on the other side, hovid begin to start it's long term joruney. fundamentally, not too bad also right? profit making and asset:liability is also stable enough |

mine 1st and biggest mistake 6 years ago was to buy IOI for 3.xx and i sold off for 4.xx
it was my 1st share, i bought 40 lots and that consist 85% of my portfolio. 6 years gain 3X%, put in FD also get high returns.. worst investment ever This post has been edited by spring onion: Feb 28 2015, 10:01 PM |

QUOTE(max_cavalera @ Mar 7 2015, 02:57 PM) +1. the problem is when to cut loss?First lesson as a trader. Cut your losses short...dont evrage down your losses... Even legendary trader like jesse livermore and paul tudor jones advise the same thing 5%? 10%? 20% and usually when you cut loss, it sill surely happen to rebound, 95% of my trade the latest 1, homeritz. cut at 97 cent, rebound balik |

QUOTE(gark @ Mar 14 2015, 01:24 PM) We need blood on the street first before it can recover... news on OnG kompeni lose money & close shop, OnG kompeni sells below NTA, OnG employee retrenchment, Project close down, OnG Manager working at McD, OnG employees lelong car and house, Auntie uncle heard of OnG also shake head, when no SANE investor would want to enter OnG, and some OnG investor go to 14th floor....... you get the idea. those OnG engineer offshore earning 50-100k per month...and some more working for 5 years.... wont have to lelong house and car one. When there is enough blood.. we buy. maybe they work in KFC and McD to pass time only |

QUOTE(gark @ Mar 14 2015, 04:16 PM) Earn big, spend big.. i know more than 50% of OnG engineer are low profile. those who likes to buy and party all day are those who still yet to find a wifeIf suddenly out of job, thye will likely lelong house and car.. mansion turn to apartment.. Mercedes turn to Toyota. Still wealthy.. but ... QUOTE(Boon3 @ Mar 14 2015, 09:11 PM) Say if you use earnings cycle as an example.... Hi boon, may i know how you cut loss? let's say you find a a stock which is attractive, say stock ABC. you value that stock at rm1.50 and 1 day it was trading at 97sen lowest. What would you be seeing? Would we see.... Earnings turn bad/decline.. Would we see losses? Would we see thw kitchen sink starts flying? ....then only we see earnings stabilise... maybe then only earnings start flying back again..... Lots of time yes? Why rush? I know i won't simply buy and hope my entry price is not wrong.. on 2nd day it rebound to rm1 and you buy it. at what price you would considered to cut loss?
