Based on my personal research on bursamalaysia website on company shares movement and quarterly earning report, heres the big tip:

Most of the time The share price move in anticipation of the performance....not when the quarterly report announce only the price move...

The ticker tape move more like a future performance. It moves first and then after 1 or 2 days only u will know why it moves so when the announcement or reports published...

What sector are this stocks in?

I know that financials, oil and gas, automotive, property dveloper, plantations all are in a current downtrend...

Manufacturing or it is doing decent to well paticularly with any company that have strong export market as weak ringgit and cheap raw commodities material helps in lowering the cost to be competitive

Any notable gainers today to highlight?

Yup steady rise...today qtr profit announcement also as expected....marignally higher revenue but way higher nett profit due to lower cost in latex raw material n weak ringgit boost their export business much...

But they cautioned say by april cost gonna get higher due to gst and higher lvl of industry competition...

Actually i already recommend regulars here to watch this stock since saturday or sunday...as wednesday is their qtr report announcement and a few research paper point to an obvious increase in revenue and nett profit...

However i get my hands burn a bit on redtone sultan johor stock though... Buying frenzy at the highest yday price didnt even bother do analysis...

Hope sultan johor wif his super big cable and vincent tan oso up his stake...this 2 big figures capable of pulling in big contract....

Could be a better buy for long term

Dominant enterprise berhad macam not bad...export market quite strong...weak RM is good for export business...

coastal from what I understand is actually a shipbuilding co.

but recently they also involve in jack up rig.

fundamentally its quite good...except for the rig involvement as oil price is now falling.

current price is quite attractive.

what do your guys think...is the price good for investing/ trading?
