If get 100,000 shares it is RM3,000 gross profit...brokerage just RM6 if U use AmeSecurities. Close to RM3,000 chickenfeed ???
What if U get 500,000 shares....then nearly RM15,000 gross profit...U don't want ?

His definition of a good IPO is having a rise of more than 50%...

I wud reckon 10% is very gud considering the short duration of up to 1 mth

Consumer packaged goods manufacturer and distributor Kim Teck Cheong Consolidated Bhd (KTC) is likely to do well on its first day of listing, judging from a recent IPO trend which has seen small- to mid-cap counters outperform their big-cap counterparts.

The Sabah-based company identified institutional investors including government-linked institutions and received an overwhelming response for its initial public offering. The institutional portion was three times oversubscribed.

The company is due to be listed on the ACE Market on Nov 25.

Year-to-date, small- to mid-cap companies have fared well as they closed at a high premium on their first day of listing versus the listing price.

Most of the time, everyone gets fair share. If I'm right, IPOs like Petronas Chemical and Felda Global, there is a higher chance of securing it if you are a Bumi versus a non-bumi. In this IPO, it is fair share.
