How do I connect X2-10GB-SR=, optics to GLC-SX-

Hi,
I am new to optics and I had a question. Is it possible to connect a 10G optics to a 1G optics using a SC/LC multimode jumber. Will change the clockrate at 1oG side solve the issue? Or do i have to have strictly 10G to 10G link or 1G to 1G link? Thanks, Will appreciate any help. |
