I want to rent a lorry for my house moving at Taman Seri Gombak, Batu Caves to Symphony Heights, Selayang. Goods that I want to move is as follows

2) Dining Table with 6 Chairs

4) 2 unit of Single Bed with Mattress

The moving date mostly will be in June. Could you give me a quote on this?

Hi I need help to move these following items from Penang to KL. It will be at the end of March. Can you quote me the price for this service?

Please avoid this service like a plague.

Late delivery (supposed to deliver Lazada item from between 24th - 29th, until now not received yet).

Item at warehouse by 24th. Status mentioned pending delivery.

Until 29th I still do not receive so I whassap customer service no. No replies even though the no is listed in the tracking page.

Next day, 30th, check tracking page, Out for delivery around 9:24am. Until evening still do not receive then post a message at theLorry facebook. CS private msg me back with driver's number, ask me to deal directly with driver (so senang CS work just ask customer deal directly).

Called the driver, said he subbed the item to another driver. The other driver called me said in the area already. Will deliver any moment.

Two hours later, still no item. Called the driver again, said on the way.

45 minutes later, driver called said already nearby an apartment. He is supposed to deliver the item at a school but said he cannot find the school (You must pass the school before arriving to that apartment). Driver said I have to come and get it myself at the apartment. He cannot find the school. I gave him directions (the school is just 50 metres from the apartment) as I am busy at that moment and cannot get out. He sighed and drop the call.

Half an hours, I assume the driver surely find the school (its pretty obvious since it is big). After arriving at designated address, item still not delivered and driver balik already, said its my fault since don't want to come pick up by myself. Then he dropped the call.

Called the first Driver who subbed to the second driver before this, marah-marah me said should be grateful and thankful because they pick up the item also consider enough. I marah back said why bother pickup but no deliver. Whats the point carry the item jalan jalan but not deliver? He start threatening me repeating a number of times "You jangan mau panggil sama kitaorang" (read in Indian slang) as if trying sound gangster like and to provoke some fight. I dropped the call since talking to idiots like this will not end up anywhere.

So until now I complaint about this driver, theLorry has no response. Please be careful when taking this service, if can please avoid. I guess their drivers are just like random freelancing lorry drivers who are not really trained couriers. Never had such experience with these kind of gangster-ish couriers with other couriers like GDEX, SKYNET, POSLAJU and other established names. Sometimes they may be late, but they treat customer right and respectfully. Unlike this lousy service so called theLorry.

Other customer please beware of the drivers when using this service. If possible please avoid.

If any reps from theLorry is not satisfied, can come discuss here. I am still not satisfied with your drivers deceiving and threatening me and I have all the proof. Puih!

Just used TheLorry's service, moving from TTDI to Bangsar, and everything was great!

We booked this via their mobile app and it was such an easy process, we had good thoughts of their service already! Everything was straight-forward and clear, which helped us make up our minds. Fortunately, we were not disappointed on the moving day itself.

The drivers & workers were all professional & efficient. I expected the whole move to take 6 hours as we have the whole house to move but it was done within 4 hours! Everything just went smoothly and quickly. None of our furniture were damaged. We were also quoted at a very reasonable price. Much cheaper than what we expected, I might add.

Although the drivers were scheduled to arrive at 9am, they arrived at 930 instead. But they did call ahead & gave an ETA, explaining the traffic condition. That's responsibility right there.

Thank you for your inquiry.

For these items, we recommend booking a 3 tonne lorry with at least 2 manpower. These manpower will carry your furniture and wrap them for you as well.

Each roll of bubble wrapping is 100 meters in length. They can be used to wrap roughly 3 large pieces of furniture. For these items, 1 bubble wrapping roll should be enough.

A) From Bagan Serai (Perak) to Permatang Tinggi (Penang)... Whole house, I think I will be needing a 3-tonne, 17ft lorry, 2 man power excl. the driver. At Permatang Tinggi, pickup a couple of furniture and a big metal buaian.

B) Then, from Permatang Tinggi to Simpang Pulai. Same day and lorry, drop the one big metal buaian.

C) Lastly, from Simpang Pulai to Batu Gajah. Same day and lorry, drop the rest of the furniture.

I have done it at your website, but I am not sure if I did it right.

Just wanna share my bad experience with thelorry.com. Made appointment at 8 am today at my house. Driver did not turn up so I called multiple times but did not pick up until 9am. When finally pick up he told me he passed the job to another guy but the guy couldn't reach me since thelorry.com never requested for my phone number. After that he told me he can only arrange for the lorry to come at 11am. I cancelled his order and called for Jembal Movers instead.

I just used it on this morning and want to share here that we have this wonderful and cheap service in town!

Very happy that our place also have this service. I know is 2021 but I got some other quotations and they're quite expensive and still in a very conventional way!

I'm moving many stuffs and some are them are quite heavy, a sofa and a TV, and turns out the delivery was quite damn smooth and please on the payment part also.

Easy and convenient... this is how it should be in 2021....
