gonna get this in 2 weeks time.

so far from this thread i can see only heat problem, screen dead pixel and cover easily scratched are the common ones i guess? hopefully other aspects are great for this comp

no heat problem, if you are playing very graphically demanding game just use the program pinned at the first post to set the fan speed higher. otherwise, it's mostly cool.

Anyone can tell the whats your cpu and gpu temperature when playing d2 reborn with max settings at 1080p?

Mine is 90c + cpu while gpu is almost 90c.
Been having this cpu throttle problem WHICH IS NOT DUE TO TEMPERATURE PROBLEM.
Cause fps dropped to 20 regardless of what settings i put as the "BD PROCHOT" was throttling my cpu speed to 0.75ghz.

Anyone who has this problem should install ThrottleStop and Disable BD PROCHOT every time you boot up to turn off the throttle.

Of course with this off you should be vary of your own temperature as its going to fly sky high if you play performance hungry games (for me d2 was reaching very high temps == with max settings )

try setting the CPU usage to 99%

My VN7 744N encountered a problem today after 1 year and 2 months (no warranty anymore sad.gif )

It suddenly shut off during usage and cannot be turned back on. The charging blue light did not light up too. Anyone else has encountered anything similar to this before?

Extra info : since last week my laptop sometimes suddenly get "unplugged" but get "plugged" in back after few seconds.

That's scary man.. I'm assuming it didn't simply run out of battery juice and the power adapter is broken?

Well, it's always plugged in and by right the battery should be 90%+. So yeah, any idea what might be the problem? I tried resetting the better via the small hole at the back but didn't seem to fix the problem.

Sorry but most probably hardware issue and have to send to service center.

Sent to a service center in Terengganu (not real acer service center, cuz there is no acer service center in terengganu...), they said it's the power circuit in the motherboard. Around RM424~, but the catch is need to send to KL maybe the real Acer Service Center and gonna take around 1 MONTH. -____-
