already got a group, i welcome myself into this group then.
I upgraded my v Nitro by adding 128gb SSD to M.2 slot, and buy a seagate 2TB external hdd and crack it open to use for hdd part.
I also open up and re-apply a thermal paste using Xigmatek thermal paste i got spare. I forgot to make some before temp. for gaming. but usually I can get around 70C for GPU now.
and i dont actually like turbo boost that much coz it adds up heats and only provide some unsignificant performance boost, so i set my power profile to use 99% power to disable turbo boost.
what you guys have done to your units?

QUOTE(miong93 @ Mar 5 2015, 01:06 PM) Wah.. Why don't just get a 2TB 2.5'' HDD instead of cracking your External HDD ? You already have the HDD beforehand is it ? because the cost of buying a hdd 2.5" 2TB is rm50 more than just buying an external hdd. i bought the external hdd around 1 week beforehand, at first i was planning to just use normal 2.5" ssd only. but few weeks after that i found a good deal for 128GB m.2 for rm220 including postage on ebay, then it all from there. the hdd it came by i put in the external hdd. i use the word crack, but not that destructive, just carefully open the external. haha.

QUOTE(ylums @ Aug 10 2015, 02:41 AM) What is the function of the pinhole with a logo of battery behind the laptop ? to simulate the battery removal. it is for if your laptop hangs (if it ever will) and nothing you do can recover, you can press the pin to make it like remove battery.
