I am really interested in getting this. I was torn between this and the Lenovo Y50. The only reason why I would choose this is because of the better screen + sound system(from what I have heard). But is the overheating issue resolved for you guys yet? And really curious if I should get it now considering I see some of you having problems with it.

Hey guys. I'm planning to buy Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-592G. But before that i need to know if there's any common issues and problems Acer V Nitro? eg the Nvidia driver update and the fan kicks slow and all.

Well, the hotfix driver seems working properly. Been playing Fallout 4 for an hour and no problem faced so far. You guys can give it a try.

I've registered just to ask if any of you here have problems with weird right fan noise when "almost" idle. I have the VN7-792G model (17 inches). That is, when there is no fan active, it's ok. When it's under stress - I can hear only the fan spinning the air, no other sounds. But when the fan is "almost idle", the fan is spinning the air nearly silently.... and the fan itself emits a low-pitched hum or buzz or wahetever.

I have already returned one piece and picked another one and the problem is the same. Did ANYONE encounter anything similar? I'm not sure if it's a problem with a specific batch or the whole series?

I also have steps to reproduce using "rw everything" from the first post Set "93" to "14" (manual right fan control) and "94" to "DB" (this is the slow speed that causes the weird sound). "D0" (almost silent) and "E0" (a little bit louder) are all fine! Only the crazy "DB" value, which is unfortunately picked by auto mode from time to time.

Is there maybe any similar problem with VN7-592G (15 inches)?

Nah.. Still using mine.. Only complaints I have so far are the uncomfortably warm palm area (right side) and the lack of a display port. Anyone know where to get the Dolby Audio software? Did a clean flash and can't seem to find the compatible installation file..
