i am not very sure but for player condition, if he is not match fit or in superb condition then we wont be at 100% even if u rest him for weeks.

btw i am also playing arsenal and i am using the default 442 with a bit of adjustment - mental to attacking and creativity towards much and counter attack. works like wonder - won 5 out of 5 currently (2 is champs league 3rd round, 3 league games). havent meet the big teams though so cant really comment much. have a goal diffrence of 11 so i think it's not bad coz i rotate my squad often so that i can avoid more injuries. (if u manage arsenal then u will know how many injured defs are there)

i played hoyte and garry as well as aythami (new signing) so that my 1st teamers are not over burdened.

btw missed out on dos santos and tuncay... too eager to sign baptista on a permanent contract - 11.5m

maybe natural fitness stat is low or sth?

btw do u use those feeder clubs? the board declined my request for feeder club... anyway i tried to sign a few non eu players but get rejected. if i have a feeder club i will be able to sign them isit? sad...

maybe get someone tall to act as defenders? this is similar to my arsenal team i think... all my arsenal defenders are having problem with air balls... lol

i also wanted to sell off some of the ori arsenal players... so that i can buy more youngsters.. who can i sell? tried offering alex song, almunia to other clubs but no response. i read somewhere lehmann can sell at 2.6m? how much u get for gilberto?

hmm i hope denilson can be like gilberto... but i like flamini most maybe influenced by his heroic display last season haha... he can play at left back now btw although not high rating haha

guys, wanna ask regarding the WP thing.. how will i know if the player finally is able to get a WP? do i need to offer a new contract then only i know? also the description in the feeder club says the player needs to spend 3 years... is it true? i wanna buy lots of players who cant get WP

which team you are using? when i start my arsenal game, first thing i do is to give everyone a new contract, remove all bonuses. almost all (90%) players will sign the contract (up their base salary is required). save me a lot in finance... have to admit i am stingy in this game... arsene style as well....

cant really cancel bonuses, but just offer them new contracts, with new terms. most of the first teamers will accept but those youngsters will want appearance bonuses coz they are not 1st teamers (thats what i think)

i am mean, if they dont wanna sign if no appearance bonus, i will give them, then let them play in the reserves. (since most of them are youngsters)

i have 2 recommendations. since i start with arsenal with clichy injured - i get 2 left backs - gareth bale (1.7m) from southampton (great 17 yo kid with wonderful stats!) and giogio cheallini from juventus (5m) - replaced clichy as my first choice. i rate him as highly as cole..

edit: baines is good but costs arounf 7.5m...

yeah i got cheallini at 5m, porto also bid but my offer of 23k per week is enough for him to join my growing squad

reducing players wage with new contracts works well in previous versions of FM ( i remember managed to reduce sol campbell's wge from 80k to 25k!!) but this version seems the player got brains more...
