Hi Sifu,

I just installed Sony U35U USB player and tweeter yesterday but the FM reception is very bad if compare ORI stock Fujitsu CD player inside my second gen Vios.

Before changing HU the FM is working fine and there is no wired cut at the dashboard because i brought the toyota connected (RM38) just plug and play at the new Sony player.

The technician didn't install additional cable form new player to my side door tweeter because by looking at the wiring diagram there is no tweeter cable from the back of the HU hence the technician just extended the front speaker cable to my newly brought tweeterat side door pannel

Hi expect out there please help to solve my FM problem because very frustrated paid money get FM issue. Your significant advice or solution is highly appreciated.

Update :

Upon checking at accessories shop, the technician do a test by using the long conventional antenna and all the FM channel is clear received

But i have to admitted the new sony player FM receiver not as good as the Ori fujitsu CD player

I changed my tinted before and this is the root caused why the antenna is not working perfectly. I was thinking like this is there any option to DIY to extended the antenna film or wired on the back wind screen. Anyone done this b4? Thanks in advanced for your valuable feedback. Thanks again

U know wat? if u wan good FM reception, u nid to go back to cassette HU...u can get very clear and stereo FM. New gen HU can't really receive FM clearly, even players costing 3-4k...sad case
