QUOTE(xpresside @ May 10 2015, 08:08 PM) can buy from me rm5 for simpack + rm3 posexpress or rm6 poslaju I see, thanks for the info. Btw could you share the details on the airbag feature? Thank you in advance.or u can find the shop at http://www.friendimobile.my/dealer-locator#dealer-locator QUOTE 2.3 Local usage is defined as local calls and local SMS outside of bundle consumption. They say nothing about within the same network or not. So it pretty vague to me. This post has been edited by JJKTP: May 11 2015, 03:17 PM |

QUOTE(xpresside @ May 11 2015, 04:30 PM) Local calls means All network in Malaysia Thanks for the reply. I know the on/off net terms but they should at least say "all network" like other telco did to signify that it is for both on and and of net. Otherwise we are on a trial and error basis here.If on net means same network, off net means other networks.. so local calls is all network This post has been edited by JJKTP: May 11 2015, 05:15 PM |

QUOTE(xpresside @ May 18 2015, 10:19 AM) Last time was 30 days, now 60 days..who knows next time become 90 days... Hope you are right as i am still contemplating whether to get this SIM card. And if i did, i would go for the latest bundle that you mentioned earlier. In the mean time I'm waiting for some other user to take the plunge and get back with own experiences to share.better grab it while it lasts.. this company is international company not like umobile only in malaysia |

SoB seller (with big Altel signboard) at Giant Taman Equine sell it @ RM8.50, no price tag on the simpack, of course, SOP for SoB seller these days. WTF, clearly way above actual price set by Friendi and surely does not bode well for Friendi.
Any way to report this to Friendi? This post has been edited by JJKTP: May 31 2015, 09:31 AM |

QUOTE(xpresside @ May 31 2015, 11:21 AM) Can report at Friendi Website because RRP is RM5.30 unless it is vvvip number. Friendi will call the dealer about the case. If still no change can report to SKMM. The shop sell the SIMpack at RM8.50 for normal number.Of course the SoB is smart enough not to put price tag/sticker like other shop in that Giant who are selling Celcom SIMpack at jacked up price but refused to provide purchase receipt to customers. QUOTE(xpresside @ May 31 2015, 12:10 PM) Pay Per Use 7sen per MB Is there any way for user to avoid the Pay Per Use by doing something like setting it so the internet will stop completely once the quota finished?New Telco need to give time before they give free internet to users. Just see Celcom. Now only they implement free internet after quota finish. Tunetalk and Altel also under Celcom still use Pay Per Use after finish quota For me, i can still tolerate the Pay Per Use (for now) but i need a way to make sure the internet will stop the moment the quota finished. |

QUOTE(xpresside @ May 31 2015, 12:37 PM) Can. If you android can set your mobile data limit in the settings. I mean not on my phone level. More like on telco level like some other telco does.If you use iOS need to micro manage your data like disable background refresh, disable auto download in whatsapp. If quota almost finish friendi will send sms reminder. |

Frankly speaking, after U Mobile come up with P70 true unlimited call, my interest (I'm sure others too) in Friendi unlimited (but limited) call has gone down the drain.

QUOTE(sbd @ Dec 28 2015, 07:37 PM) So sad I could only enjoy their rm40 package for 2 months before they went rogue. Agree with you.that package gave me 500mb per month and unlimited call and sms (even though stated as 1,000 mins and 500sms) could really have been unlimited due to airbag kicking in with rm34.99 usage. that rm40 plan actually cost me rm30 since every rm20 reload got rm5 bonus, it was the steal of the century. now the nearest plans are digi 65 and u mobile 70. They don't even offer any sms. now i mnp to u power prepaid and pay 5 cents per 30 seconds and get 1 gig free internet per month. Really hope some operator offers an unlimited call and sms plan (with half to 1 gig data per month) for around 40 bucks. Friendi who is running on U Mobile infrastructure was a telco who offer the best unlimited (but actually limited) packages until the U Mobile itself come up with its RM70 unlimited plan and DiGi to a lesser extent with its RM65 unlimited plan. After that Friendi was just going downhill and never seem to recover. As for SMS. I don't see that having an unlimited mobile package without unlimited SMS is a big issue in this day and age. |
