The long war against Frost Republic scarred many places of the Empire; famine, plague, returned soldiers who become bandits… Worrying about these "war damages" resulting from the devastations of the nation and people's minds, the Empire Army orgnaizes the 3rd section of Information Bureau known as "Pumpkin Scisors", and they assigned the section for the duty of recovery from the war damage.

Three years have passed since the truce so called "thin ice agreement". The 3rd section hasn't accomplished their task, yet. Rather, they are absorbed in paper works, and without notice, people ridicule that it is an "Excuse Section" that suppress people's complaint. However, they strive to achieve their tasks. One day, a man offers a help to them. It was a big guy who used to be a soldier. Dangling an iron lantern from his waist, he handles a heavy gun one-handed.

good stuff. Verily good. Its been a while since there is something this good. A must watch for me along with dgrayman. There's a fullmetalalchemist feel to this anime; minus the magical stuff.

Yeah I was not expecting much when I first saw the title, LOL. But it surprisingly pretty good, I will keep a close watch on this anime as well.

ok i already watch the anime .. quite a simple anime .. the main character quite big and so so .. and whats the frigging blue light near his waist ? is he cyborg or something .. and he reminds of van the guy who use sword and big mecha thingy ...

Its the symbol of the Anti Tank Trooper. Suppose to scare the wits outta tanks who saw that light for the one holding that light are Tank HUnters.

I like his pistol. The sound it makes is quite cool

Now I think that Oland was a subject of experiment. He had his shoulder blasted by a tank, and he just shrugged that off. Anyways, more One-man-kick-tank-ass action

Gonna save ep2 for tomorrow

Episode 2 is very nice also. The office make me feel like FMA office type and expect a tank again in episode 2.. .. Anti Tank unit is the best. Wonder we really do have this kinda unit in our military.

Going head to head with a tank needs hell of a gut. Plus some body enhancement and effective brainwashing too.

also need a rechargeable blue lantern and a black jakc like face

Doesn't explain about the fact that he can take direct hits from tank shells and still be alive.

His unit was attached to the 90x regiment, specially engineered and trained troops designed for the sole purpose of making war

901 Anti-Tank Troopers, think of them as bio-mechanically engineered troops designed for taking on DUH tanks. Though it's clear that they don't have subdermal armor implants or special adamantium skeletons due to the fact that they can have lesions and break bones.

We MIGHT learn more as the story progresses.

Or it could be another devious subplot by Skynet to subvert humanity's reign on the planet by mass producing more lifelike T-1 models with complex AI and Emotion routines to confuse and trick the ignorant masses into believing superstitious drivel. The lantern could be a red (blue?) herring for all we know.

I thought anti-tank troops use RPG or other anti-tank rockets on tanks.

The "ware ware WHOA!" scene in episode 02 made me lol'ed every time i watched it.

I can only tolerate this "1 tank frag per episode thing" for 2 more episodes. By episode 5 this anime should lead to some kind of bigger storyline.

lol try look at other anime. Isn't it same? They usually defeat something for one per episode for starters.

Hmm, Orland seems to take a lot of damages compared to other anime heroes.

in a way yes... IMO as long teh dun continue fight ( a same enemy character up to more teh 4 epsd) which make me think *when will this fight will end*

Episode 21 is justpadded with long winded dialogue just to have an excuse to drag the action scenes into the next episode. >.<
