I have just signed up Maxis Fibre 800Mbps 2 weeks back, they give Aminia MA131 router, ever since then I tried many ways using speedtest to test the speed, I used my PC with direct network cable connect, my note 10 pro phone and few different mode of laptops, but none of it can goes more than 300Mbps, called Maxis being told that my device cannot support, and recently I found the wifi connection is unstable, page keeps loading, does anyone with 800Mbps package encounter this issue too?
I'm thinking to change router with WIFI 6 support, does anyone has any recommendation?

anyone know why i cant change the max idle time for the c5v model ? it will keep on disconnect after 15min for every online games

By default it's ALWAYS ON. See properly.

Try changing you max idle time to 0

Maybe it’s the router issue due to bad firmware

latest firmware so bad LAN connection from router to PC keep disconnect.

They means available port. Like switch port.

Ahh okay, but I haven't seen their advertisement promoting maxis fiber is available. In this case I had to contact them straight away?
Was waiting for unifi's online limited 100mbps with tvbox rm159 plan, now they raised the price to 189....i rather get Maxis's 300mbps instead.

Does anyone experience speed cap on p2p on Maxis Fibre? Weird to see my connection cannot go higher than 140 KB/s even the torrent has thousands of seeder and enough ratio.

This happened since MCO. Before that it was at maximum speed.

Aiyoh ppl: remember these few days everyone at home la, if everyone torrent kau kau sure not enough bandwidth. Tak hairan if P2P traffic kena throttled until 31th March 2020.

If u manage a network of finate bandwidth, who do u wan kick off first:

the kid who torrent / DL pron OR
the aunty/uncle who sit at home browse fb /youtube / or read news/videos on coronavirus

Unifi no throttle

Okay lets all go cancle our maxis fiber and subscribe unifi then; but before terminate go complain to MCMC for the throttle

yup, can confirm this. at my in law's place with p2p reaching 200 Mbps.

I need to block a MAC address from accessing my network, but my Maxis router (TPLink Archer C5v) doesn't allow such changes. In fact, it doesn't allow any changes AT ALL except for changes to the 2.4 and 5G connection password and SSID. Under 'system tools' is merely a display of various statistics. Is there any way I can do this? Image of the system tools interface attached below.
