There's regulation by USA's Securities and Exchange Commission for reit listed there to publish results in USA accounting standards (US GAAP) but it's difficult to understand, so they publish FFO for easy comprehension

Worldwide(except USA) use different accounting standards compared to USA, so there's no need for this FFO terms being used here
