I've been waiting for 1.30 for some time

Tadi 4.48PM...saw a chance to "jump queue", cepat cepat key in brows.gif
U know this teknik, right? My favourite...but don't try this for high volume/volatile counters, nanti get trapped tongue.gif

lazy boi..  tongue.gif

Can be done during pre-opening or pre-closing.. time only

Let say buy Queue is 5000 lots @ 1.30, Sell Queue is 200 lot @ 1.30

If you put at 1.30 queue, you might not get the share you want, since got 5000 lots in front of your queue

But if you put your bid at 10 lot @1.31 right before preclosing, ON CLOSING TRADE your order will take precedence over the 5000 lots @ 1.30 and WILL transact at 1.30 (from sell queue) instead of 1.31.

Fast fingers and staring at the screen is required as well.  laugh.gif

Ada faham? If not faham 100% better dont try.. otherwise can backfire rolleyes.gif

Thank you!

So it must be done BEFORE PRE-closing.

But if sell queue before pre-closing is at 1.31, if i key in trade before pre-closing at 1.31, won't it trade at 1.31?
Haha I wonder if high frequency trading exists in malaysia like in the book Flashboys by Michael Lewis.

I sold off earlier. now buy back. If it dips lower buy some more. That is my strategy....
*
Yup, getting ready to top up if it dips further.

Didn't sell mine off though.

Does anyone here practice RSP with REIT stocks as commonly practiced in unit trust?

If anyone does, how do we know which stock to purchase every month?
*
That is the million dollar question my friend. cool2.gif

Ok forget about stock selection. Anyone DONE some sort of RSP for stocks? This method workable?
*
Yea, I do it in the sense that after saving a certain amount ie. RM8K, I'll invest the lumpsum in shares. I try to get the biggest bang for my buck in terms of brokerage.

Of course I do monitor the market and not just blindly invest in one stock laugh.gif

Has everyone taken profit from IGB already? Feel like its time seeing the next dividend is only in Aug and yields are below 6% at this price. Or do you guys foresee the profits increasing to catch up?

Will buy good steady reit at yield more than 5.5~6%.
O&G.
Undervalued property stocks. I find it a bargain in some property stocks, that selling half of its NAV with ok earning result, while recently several reit result were pretty disappointing.
*
Any O&G company in particular u looking at now?
Wonder which are some of the worst hit ones due to global oil prices. A total newbie when it comes to O&G stocks. cry.gif

can investment cost (unit trust vs share trading fees) be the reason?
undeniably many people buy REIT via share trading account right...
*
I think the only reason (for me) to purchase REITs through UTs would be to get exposure to REITs in other countries.
