QUOTE(Boon3 @ Sep 4 2019, 06:51 PM) Right now, just doing some Reits testing, fake trading etc etc theories REITs have relatively low risks compared to other products in the stock market anyway...I am one who believes only doing what I am good at. Reits is something I am not good at and most of all I cannot fully grasp the risks. but yes, KLCC has low trading volume. |

QUOTE(Hansel @ Sep 13 2019, 01:48 PM) Bro Boon,... losing money,.. as a live example from my very own experience - HPH Trust ! smart decision!! I probably wouldn't have made the same move. The dpu is falling, causing the unit price to fall in tandem... I attended the AGM once a few years ago. The price then was around 50c. Some investors there told me : This ctr IPO'ed at 1.00, you know.... Now dropped to half already,... where can drop some more ??!!??,.... I have lost a small amt by then, which prompted me to attend the AGM. I cutloss immediately after that, losing a few cts per unit against my Buy Price of 54.56c... So,... yes,... lost money myself. As a matter of curiosity, this afternoon, I checked,... the price of HPH Trust now is at 15.7c and based on my earlier Buy Price of 54.56c, I have lost 72.11%. I held on to 100 units in my portfolio to study this ctr ! |

QUOTE(PortgasDerekAce @ Sep 25 2019, 12:22 PM) do you think the recent i-invest app/service has anything to do with the slowdown? i mean, it is really defensive and people pulling out from bursa to park there, getting the income instrument protection. perfect for recent recession sentiment too. what is i-invest? |

QUOTE(knight @ Dec 28 2019, 10:28 PM) Agree, as of now I'm waiting to buy back IGB and Sunway. hmm.... I'm waiting for IGBReit to go lower ... RM 1.91 is still quite high for me, but yes, there's the support level. Will enter when the price is good. Sunway could possibly goes below 1.75. IGB have great support at 1.91 Probably a good time go collect |

QUOTE(Cubalagi @ Jan 5 2020, 12:35 AM) 4.75% not bad what.. Think about it as a FD alternative. well, KLCCP is stronger of course, but ..... And if u compare with IGB yield of 4.85% and Pavillion of 5.05%..are the extra yield worth it? Which Reit is stronger if economy weakens further? doesn't fit my risk appetite. but yeah, the rest is already too high anyway. Have to wait until BNM raises interest rates. |

QUOTE(Cubalagi @ Jan 5 2020, 02:15 PM) return is too low, considering the same small amount of risk. QUOTE(cherroy @ Jan 5 2020, 04:38 PM) At current yield at more than 5.5% with relative stable DPU going forwards, it seems an attractive choice. yeah, that's true. If my funds were larger, I'd consider it too. KLCCP is one of most defensive reit, as majority of the lease is long term and triple net lease. So going forward DPU is highly stable and predictable. At yield that is more than 100~150 basic point compared to MGS as well as FD rate, it is not too difficult to comprehend there are institutional funds interested in it. 1~1.5% extra income for funds that are running in hundred million or billions figure, it could be means a lot for the funds. QUOTE(~Curious~ @ Jan 6 2020, 10:35 AM) should be at least better than amanah saham lah... considering this has risk. QUOTE(bmwcaddy @ Jan 6 2020, 05:40 PM) same with IGBReit. It was about RM 2.10 I think... |
