normally you can put a finger on the absorber mounting where you will see a nut where it screw your absorber in place. rest your finger there then ask someone to press your car and let it bounce. if you feels like it has the click feeling, it might need to get services. most adjustable absorber can be saved even it was leaking and waving around. as long as the body and the shaft was in good condition.
