for rm598, basically you can buy a Mi Note, strap it on your neck and watch the time as much as you like. (side features include able to make call, online, use app)

My friend, with guide from me just bought SNK809K1 for RM200... Waaaaaaaaay better than your unknown brand...

Spending 500 over some unknown brand, mind as well get a below 100 watch. Even it's not a G Shock, just get a normal Casio lah.

Sometimes it's not about showing off but, a popular brand will make your life easier when it comes to, claiming warranty.

are you a brand conscious person? if you're not, I don't see why the watch wouldn't  last for 2 years.
that brand issue aside, i think the design is quite nice
