So post offices can't open ASM because of the new system. Decided to try open AS1M and got it instead.

Anyone successfully open ASM with banks around damansara/pj areas recently? Or know which pos office updated to new system. Even if there's units hard to open when bank clerks don't even check just say 'tak de unit untuk non bumi'.

Added 3k to as1m, i guess those that has the money even 10k's can easy get nowadays? Still no luck with opening asm, the clerks keep say no quota etc don't wanna try for me.

Kl, damansara areas. I'll try banks further away when got time. Tried maybank and rhb that's within walking distance. The rhb here terrible, even topup they say can't access system, so forget about even asking them open new accounts. Post offices seems most willing to help but the one here not updated to new system can't do asm.

Yeah that's what i'll focus on for now, don't have alot spare cash around to add tho.

Well whether put in as1m or asm or other fixed price it's still the same risk isn't it, all still considered putting into the same basket. Having more accounts just means more options to try topup for non bumis.
