Anyone pernah request penyata from ASB before?

By penyata, not the yearly statement or from buku akaun. I mean more of like a bank statement (with PNB letterhead maybe?) that will declare I have XX,xxx amount of ringgit as my "savings".

Reason I'm asking this is for study visa application.

Conventional method is to withdraw my XX,xxx from ASB into Maybank then ask Maybank to produce the penyata. But rugilah coz considered my ASB balance become lower for that particular month.

Hope anyone has done the penyata thing can share their experience. Been trying to find any sample online but seems none. Regular bank statements got plenty lah.

Ok thanks Nexona. I've read about this service in PNB website. I just couldn't see any sample how it look like & whether it'll be similar to the one banks often produce.

For RM10, I guess it's worth a shot rather than unnecessarily withdraw my ASB balance to Maybank, etc.

Edit: find a photo from google that look like surat pengesahan, cuma in Malay, I'll try to ask them to produce 1 in Engrishhh, hehe

Not for money laundering lah, just need to get some Euro for studying overseas oni. Meaning cash 40k I want to buy some € to pay univ tuition bills.

Actually MYR EUR is equally weak. If USD, yeah menangis lor. OK I'll try CIMB or Maybank then.

This is for ASB withdrawal. I read if cawangan ASB, only 10k max. So just want to confirm if banks like RHB, CIMB or Maybank are different a bit.

To answer ur question, yes, asb loan amount will appear in ur credit record. Source: I also kena tanya when applying car loan, after a while then realized it was ASB loan

I recall in previous ASB/ASN thread version berapa ntah, someone wrote Maybank can allow 25k but CIMB can allow 50k. You heard of this?

Yeah approved. Not sure if what u said was the same reasoning that the bank used. This was back in 2008 btw.

Same lor. My main shoe for jalan2 is from bundle. A bit buruk but branded & comfortable. I also got tonnes of bundle shorts & t-shirts. Good quality if ppl can get past the fact they are bundles.

Ok got question related to ASB/ASB2. Please note the numbers are imaginary

On 31/08 I got 40k in ASB.

On 01/09 I withdraw it from ASB and put that 40k in ASB2 immediately.

So will I be eligible for ASB2 dividend calculation for 01/09 to 30/09?

Also, is there any different between "cutoff" date date for ASB vs ASB2 or they are the same?

Interesting point if this applies. I've heard of the same rule before re: lowest balance of the month. That means if my ASB2 is 0 on 31/8 and in the morning of 1/9 before I put 40k in it, probably that means my lowest balance in September is 0. Hmm ... Let's see if other experts can vouch for this.

Different topik a bit. I just got back from Maybank for regular banking. When taking number giliran, that person oredi ask if I want ASB loan. Then at teller counter, different staff asking the same.

More aggressive lately? Maybe they got loan targets?
