QUOTE(Ramjade @ Aug 4 2015, 01:56 PM) Kl, damansara areas. I'll try banks further away when got time. Tried maybank and rhb that's within walking distance. The rhb here terrible, even topup they say can't access system, so forget about even asking them open new accounts. Post offices seems most willing to help but the one here not updated to new system can't do asm.QUOTE(Ancient-XinG- @ Aug 4 2015, 02:08 PM) Yeah that's what i'll focus on for now, don't have alot spare cash around to add tho. This post has been edited by pakumon: Aug 4 2015, 02:13 PM |

Others banks I not sure la because got people from here can do online and got it. Yeah that's what i'll focus on for now, don't have alot spare cash around to add tho. Just focus on as1m will do because they have good track record since launch. |

How much is the max limit you will go? Cause my mother stop putting as1m and go for ASM instead. Said as1m enough already.
For me enough if no bullets or got at least rm1m (can keep dreaming). Not going to happen for me. Haha... |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Aug 4 2015, 02:35 PM) Well whether put in as1m or asm or other fixed price it's still the same risk isn't it, all still considered putting into the same basket. Having more accounts just means more options to try topup for non bumis. |

Want to ask regarding ASB Loan. Situation 1) Borrowed RM200k ASB loan at Maybank Islamic for 25 years with installment of RM1,242/month. 2) Based on Picture above - Assume worst case scenario at interest income 7.5%/annum - Will not withdraw interest income every year but instead pay like normal. Let the interest and principal added every year. Question 1) What is the interest like? Sum-of-digit or straight line method? Sum-of-digit method = Interest highest at first payment Straight line method = Interest equally start till end 2) My calculation is by early 2023, I've earn / paid - Total installment = RM110,538 - Total interest = RM68,376.15 - Total principal = RM42,161.85 - Total ASB + Interest = RM342,178.89 Initial principal - Paid principal = Remaining principal to be paid RM200,000- RM42,161.85 = RM157,383.15 Total ASB + Interest - Remaining principal to be paid RM342,178.89 - RM157,848.15 = RM184,340.74 left inside my ASB ASB left after settlement - 7 yrs+ installment RM184,340.74 - RM110,538 = RM73,802.74 So for the past 7 years I've gained RM73,802.74 $$$. Is my calculation correct? This post has been edited by uk9089: Aug 4 2015, 06:44 PM |
