And when the time comes that they realize the error that AS1M has no correlation other than just name with 1MDB, they'll live to regret as those who have a long term view normally do not redeem their units after trying so hard to get it in the first place.

From previous experience, ASM is always there. Just need to try small unit. Try when bank just open, lunch time and when bank going to close. These are the 3 lucky time.

Want to ask, why is it ASX is not considered a higher form of FD? Yearly it have given returns of 6.6 guaranteed.

Although it is not covered by PIDM, nevertheless it is still considered safe investment as your principal will not depreciate in value.

They can't guarantee their performance to be good every year to be able to give a return of 6.6. If you want, you can regard it as a better alternative to FD which im doing tongue.gif

And BTW, it's not as easy as putting into FD because for ASX you need to try ur luck

Apart from giving better returns than fd, ASX can be withdrawn any working time and u only lose the div for the withdrawal month. I take it as a good parking place while waiting for other better investment.

Bank let u know the int rate upfront upon FD placement
ASNB will let u know the dividend rate upon the end of each financial year

Presently ASNB maintain the buy n sell price for its Fixed price Funds @ 1.00/unit
Thus, there is no element of capital guarantee in ASx

I search left right center in the ASNB master prospectus for its Fixed price policy. I can't find any. Do you have any knowledge of it? I think the fixed price is not guaranteed (correct me if I'm wrong) but I can't find any b/w in the prospectus.
Another question, is there any fixed price fund converted to floating price fund in the history of ASNB before?
