To answer ur question, yes, asb loan amount will appear in ur credit record. Source: I also kena tanya when applying car loan, after a while then realized it was ASB loan

I recall in previous ASB/ASN thread version berapa ntah, someone wrote Maybank can allow 25k but CIMB can allow 50k. You heard of this?

cause few year's back, i heard the bank say it's ok to take asb loan cause the dividend can cover the loan and will not affect much for other loan
but now when i try to apply for some loan, all failed sweat.gif

Yeah approved. Not sure if what u said was the same reasoning that the bank used. This was back in 2008 btw.

managed to open an asm account today. initially went to maybank branch but was told only bumi can open there. went to asnb and tadaa managed to open an account.

well it's depends on situation, juz like ASM & AS1M..

but my guess is most already have ASW account & already stop adding units. now they focus on ASM & AS1M sweat.gif
