Hi, I successfully download the installer and initiate download using your proxy settings, but when I do other stuff its really slow, since got ppl say can off vpn after start download, izzit can off proxy as well? how to do that? tx

do I just untick the 3rd option? no need to type anything in cmd to reset? I scared the leftover setting will messed up my comp.

Can anyone share download client for me to install?
I have a lot of problem downloading,
1. my cpu spike to 30% during launcher
2. when open launcher, before login page, always will pop out a Unicode error 2 times, don't know what it means.
3. after login, with or without proxy or vpn, the download can proceed, but 30kbps on my unifi? I found fast speed proxy but still get the same speed when downloading this particular game.
4. In order to find out the problem, I decided to uninstall the game from control panel, nothing to lose coz only downloaded 2gb in 2 days.
5. after that, another problem, like the system still keep the previous log or something, redownload from scratch will always hang at the running square section before it shows progress, means progress never shown, I suspect coz it remember where I stop download, but there is no file left, coz I uninstalled already.

So many issues, I suspect maybe coz I use windows 10? if yes, then i'm fuked up, coz no way to revert back to 8.1 anymore, abit regret now.

tx for confirmation, I guess i'm abit paranoid, I actually only upgrade, didn't dare to clean install yet, a lot of file to take care of.

currently in 80%, hopefully can work well, so I just need to replace the original folder and launcher will automatic detect download finish?

The torrent included the patch as well, other than translation, everything is provided.

Didnt use vpn, too slow coz i use free vpn, I only use proxy and the one i use is very fast, so I can play with proxy on also no problem, but I still off it after character selection coz I feel more comfortable without it.
Currently got 3 green bar, should be good ping, not sure.

Waiting for translation of the tutorial tips that keeps prompting. If anywhere have, please let me know.
I find it useful but I have to photo capture and translate every tutorial, I admit I'm abit obsessed with learning every single thing in this game, but sometimes the translation abit off, so I might missed important info. This took me alot of times and not even lvl10 2days.
And thanks to this game I have no time for cs:go, and totally forgot about gw2 and tera damn

To me proxy is faster, I didn't use suggested proxy, I use transparent proxy coz its faster, since i'm not yet detected, still ok for me.

Downloading of update start at 12:00pm (Japan Time), to avoid any delays from getting in the game as soon as maintenance end.

what you mean by that? you mean engllish patch? well, here the download is 13gb in launcher.

I actually have backup of the client and patch, so if without patch works, I will try recopy the original client.

I hvnt done this, will try recopy original client and let you know, any reason you suspect due to English patch?

I uninstalled whole game and recopy client and 1st patch from backup, same 13gb download.

The previous method of cut off vpn or proxy before login still works, and untick automatically detect settings in LAN Settings, I gain additional 100kbps speed. Around 400kbps now, 10hours still fine for me, at least not 20hours

I actually planned to wait for russian torrent to upload the new patch, coz torrent really fast. but its gamble, if they don't upload, then I'm done for, so better download myself first.
