1. how long you waited? i suggest to wait at least 10-15mins, sometimes it download patch without displaying progress bar, especially for launcher patch, after download, it will prompt a window that looks like error prompt, and it will automatically restart launcher, then you can login normally.
2. Try not to disable vpn too early, see if it works or not.

Now stuck at lv51 valkyrie. Dunno when to continue play.
Ping is super important in gvg, so most of the time I only block/kite/aggro cuz ping sux.
