Those who are going through bad times, evil times, let me encourage you, you're being exposed on purpose by God for training to greater Glory.
It is something that is beyond your ability to withstand with dignity. It is expose on purpose so that it drives you to the Lord for dependency in trust, comfort and strength.

You are loved by the Lord.

This is the admonition from the Lord I get in the spirit.

Amen to that.  I always try pray in a friendly tone towards God.

However, I'm a bit embarrassed when my church friends ask me to lead the prayer. I can't spill all those poetic and beautiful words

Okay I've been brewing for a long time now I guess it's time to admit it.

I kept thinking that if I don't love God 'enough', I would be rejected in the end days.

Yeah I know what you mean.  Nah, don't worry about it.
Just pray honestly from your heart, even if it sounds lame, it's a valid prayer to God.

Jesus pray the shortest prayer and that short & simple prayer is powerful enough to resurrect Lazarus. He groaned twice and his short prayer is Not even 1 minute long, neither was it bombastic.

Sometimes all these people who pray beautiful prayers, with all the right phraseology I don't know if it's to impress people or to impress God, as if Father God will stop in his Track in Heaven, impressed wow, that's an impressive prayer. No, the Father hears your prayer, be assured. 
It's not the matter of you loving God enough.
It's a matter of you receiving God's love enough.

Even Jesus emphasized on this.

I feel sad now my friend is not open to hear about the Gospel.

Sometime surrendering ourself is really not something as easy as we spoke. Pray, pray, pray and wait.. and happy to sees the problem is gone. Then not more than 72 hours another problems raise again just like the heat waves. My body still not fully cool down yet.

I was asking, I'm really curious if God really knows that I can handle the weight of this stress? Those stress is like an Arrow strike in the RED spot of my heart with an instant dead feels. I asked again, must I goes thru this in order to end the cycle of stress madness?

If it is, I surrender. I will lay on the table and let u cut as u like. Since I got no choice, where ever I goes is under ur palm. Feels so depress for more than 12 hours on this situation. Like a ship can't reach the ports either side.

Ask them to attend a church la.

Its not enough to just read a bible, you need to read Bible commentaries as well. For me at least. hehe...

Why you should be at rest and not worry about your Christian life
Verse 6 of the book of Philippians starts of with the phrase; "Being CONFIDENT of this".

But why is it, we aren't confident of this ourselves? Bingo! Because we're looking at ourselves.

Paul says Being Confident that He (Christ) who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Oh If only, you understand this truth, your shoulder will truly relax and you will breath easy, your faith will be sure.
Everytime and (If) you fail in your walk with God, please, I say please remember Philippians 1:6
But why UW? What's so important about it?

It's so important, because knowing this will set you in free in Christ.

Here is the answer of what Philippians 1:6 :

It means that God is not finished working in your life.

That is why when you fall from grace, tell the Lord; "Father, I thank you that you're still working in my life and you remember the death of your Son as the substitute of my sin". Get this into your spirit and move on.

Sure you can pray " Dear God, forgive me I'm a sinner, etc etc etc" but that will only cause you to be more introspective of yourself rather than being conscious of God and his work. Sooner or later you will unconsciously allow condemnation to come in. Once condemnation comes in, you will struggle even harder to get out of it. You will start confessing till you are blue in the face and nothing is change. It will be a vicious cycle you'll find hard to get out.

No Dear Friends. The Christian life is a life of Rest. Rest in God particularly. When you are at rest, despite of your spiritual failures, you will hear God speaking to you. When you're introspective of yourself, (that you have not done good enough) you will block out God's voice. God speaks in the midst of your trouble circumstances and for that to happen you have to agree with his words, which is the finish work of Christ, your faith and it's God's grace that justify you, not your doings. And in Philippians 1:6, God is  simply saying "I'm not done with you. Stay close to me".

Well it's your choice, dear believers. You can either Be confident that God is still working or Be confident that you're still working.

Only One will take you on the path of Rest and assured Salvation.

jiayou oh....it hurt the Lord for us to sin. He gave us all, so we must commit to love God by stop sinning.

If you haven't filter your media, i.e., tv, internet, movies, games, and to filter it and do not allow even a hint of sin for temptation.

I find it very useful to wake up morning and sing songs to God (i can play guitar), to pray, to read scriptures, to encourage brothers and sisters in the Lord...

i was very much into gaming (that's what brought me to lowyat forum), and I must said that the battle is tough. I eventually uninstalled the games....and have stopped playing it for 1 month.
