QUOTE(tinarhian @ Jan 30 2015, 10:04 PM)
When is CNY? I'll be going to Cambodia next month.

19th and 20th Feb.

Barry Meguiar is the President of Meguiar. An Evangelical Christian.
Valentine Day is an over-rated Western culture and is overly commercialized.

Even when I was in a relationship, I didn't see any big deal in celebrating this pointless day.

To me, everyday is a Valentine Day.  laugh.gif

It's really overrated here as well, it gives another reason for vendors and restaurants to jack up the prices on that day itself.

It shows you're a reasonable girlfriend, not spending unnecessary money.

QUOTE(tinarhian @ Jan 30 2015, 11:20 PM)
I only spend it on handbags, clothes and shoes.

Better to spend that extra money on family instead. BF can find, but family you can't.
*
Ok, I take back what I said about being a reasonable girlfriend. Jk.

True, family is important.

Families are close to God’s heart. In fact, they were His idea in the first place. From the beginning, when God created man, He said, “It is not good for man to be alone,” so He created woman as a “help-meet, suitable for him” (Genesis 2:18). Then, He blessed them and told them, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish [fill] the earth” (Genesis 1:28). Even after they fell into sin, God continued with His plan for families, and even spoke prophetically of the salvation that would come through the seed of the woman (Genesis 3:15).

QUOTE(tinarhian @ Jan 30 2015, 11:31 PM)
Paul teaches us to be humble right, but even then, some of us can't emulate Paul let alone Jesus.

Acts 20:19

I served the Lord with great humility and with tears and in the midst of severe testing by the plots of my Jewish opponents.

But Paul had ‘all humility’, including humility of mind: intellectual humility.

http://www.metropolitantabernacle.org/Chri...Trowel-Magazine

Satan was proud right, thinking that he's on equal terms with God?
*
It's difficult but it's not impossible, we have to pray for God to humble us and fill us with humility.

On the other hand, Satan was filled with pride, he desired to be God, not to be a servant of God. Satan was likely the highest of all angels, the most beautiful of all of God's creations, but he was not content in his position. Instead, Satan desired to be God, to essentially “kick God off His throne” and take over the rule of the universe thus he was cast out of heaven.

Dont know what road this is at. Almost got fine too. Luckily uncle told me.

I'm not familiar with KL road names. I just drive around with my Waze.

By the time I reached my car, the cop was there.   mad.gif

So I talk to him angrily in German, hahaha...

No summons was given.
*
There are two more beef noodle restaurants in the vicinity at Jalan Pudu which are really good too. Don't rely on waze all the time, it told me to go straight at a dead end few times.

Scolding him in German sounds fun haha.

Learn our road names laugh.gif

any pray words for wisdom bro? Maybe I have to get used to pray before did anything. I always pray while I ride my bike and Jesus always take cares of me.
*
I just pray for God to grant me wisdom in my daily life. Read Proverbs, it's filled with wise words by King Solomon.

It might sound petty but I pray when I step out of the house, on the road and during my travels.

So many Jalan with long and winded names.  rclxub.gif

How long have you been working here? Learn the road names around your place, makes it easier when you're trying to locate a shop or a restaurant, instead of using waze all the time, I use waze when I'm unfamiliar of the location but sometimes it's quite stupid as well.

King Solomon himself has 100 wives liao and cannot tackle one girl he loves most. Should I follow his words?
*
He stopped following God then. He too asked God for wisdom when he first sat on the throne.

He wrote Songs of Songs too, they're filled with love songs and poems.

Almost 5 years. I know the familiar places like Sunway, SS2, SS3, Taman Megah, TTDI, Mont Kiara, Bangsar, Mid Valley, Klang Valley, etc...

But Malaysian road names really sooo long la.
*
Wow, that long? That's not too bad. They're mostly named after historical people and former sultans in Malaysia so most of them have really long names.

I think in Malaysia, the dirtier the kitchen, the tastier the food right? Eeeeewwww....

Technically, I start work from 10am - 6pm, but I don't necessarily work according to schedule. lel.

Freelance mah, I do not go to office. I work from home.

It depends on the projects. I used to work for a civil engineering firm in Germany.
Luckily some churches start late in the morning.  thumbup.gif

See my father is Mat Salleh, how to bluff the locals?  hmm.gif

Why want to avoid Valentine? Tonight they are showing romantic comedies on Astro.  wub.gif  wub.gif

not 30 year old people, its 30 senior people..

Senior people are not bad, only the movement and maybe thinking process, but their wisdom are golden.  notworthy.gif

Maybe the cat is asking you for food?

Today I'm making cendol...I'm using coconut milk, sugar palm, the green stuff, some "sago", condensed milk and water. Especially water because the coconut milk is too thick.

My cousins are making some Yong tau foo.  drool.gif

My bad.

Don't judge others lest you be judged. Maybe he's just shy, not all of us can just start a conversation with a complete stranger.

Change more Cambodian money than usd, these people are always preying on tourists with usd.

Yes, they might be seniors but they're full of knowledge and wisdom. smile.gif

Should I change my USD here or in Cambodia?

Bitte, no foul language.

Wow, try again? What did you do? Tall girls are great. tongue.gif

Change them here. The money changers at Bukit Bintang has the best rates around.

Nein, it's not foul language. It's a slang.

They probably have good news for you. They miss you and want you back home.

Yeah, that's true but the last movie he made was in 2013. He's still a great producer despite his poor attitude as a person.

Age difference is not a big deal. Its the attitude of my brother that irked me here. The middle child is suffering here, hello??

I will definitely tell my parents about my plans.  nod.gif I'm a responsible adult and I know what I want.

Today really a slow day for me, can't even do any proper work. That's really bad for a German standard.  sad.gif

Hmm, the typical middle child syndrome..

I'm sure your parents will understand and respect your decision.
