QUOTE(leonhart88 @ Jan 31 2015, 11:20 PM)
sometimes we cannot avoid sins bro. we commit sins not on purpose. I think should change mindset that god always bless me and make me rich so we do not need to be corrupted. Another I have a problem, one friend owed me rm 8k, she now only paid 1.5k for installment. each month pays me rm300 but this month she said that she does not know when can pay me since she  also struggles with her biz. what should I do bro? what should I pray? sian so stressful if doesn't have money.
*
That is why I urge you to understand about the story of the Father who will go to Jail for you, for all the sins you've committed.
Because the more you understand it, his grace will bring you out of it. It will be the end of the power of sin over your life.

Romans 5:6 (ESV) - For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.

Now I'm not encouraging you to sin. Please understand where I'm coming from.
But everytime and (IF) you fall into sin, the grace of Christ is there for you.

And if you think that, "oh like that means I can sin as I want lah"
Then remember what I've told you? Do you still have the heart to sin knowing your own father is willing to go to Jail for you?
You said No, right? You feel more attached because He is your own Father.

Well your Heavenly Father is the one who gave you Life while you were just a tiny dot of life in your Mom's womb. He is also your own Father.
He went to Jail by sending Christ.

any pray words for wisdom bro? Maybe I have to get used to pray before did anything. I always pray while I ride my bike and Jesus always take cares of me.

I just pray for God to grant me wisdom in my daily life. Read Proverbs, it's filled with wise words by King Solomon.

It might sound petty but I pray when I step out of the house, on the road and during my travels.

I need all of your opinions. Talking about Dee.

I'm very inclined to follow this below.

Romans 16:17
I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.

Matthew 18:17
If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

And yet I also struggle in my heart to show him Grace, as our Heavenly Father showed us Grace.
With the hope that he'll repent.

He seem stubborn and adamant when He said the few things are not negotiable.

1. Bible & Context is not important.
2. If the HS tells Him to "sin" like Bribe or Kill, He will still consider it.

Now we all know this is cult like, it's not in the Bible. If anyone can say Bible is not important, then we have lost all base for reference as to what is right and wrong?

In short, you guys want to "excommunicate" him? laugh.gif

I stand with all your decisions. 2 Days of opinions then we decide.

How long have you been working here? Learn the road names around your place, makes it easier when you're trying to locate a shop or a restaurant, instead of using waze all the time, I use waze when I'm unfamiliar of the location but sometimes it's quite stupid as well.

Do you think this story in the Bible somehow fits in like above?

Luke 15:

25“Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on. 27‘Your brother has come,’ he replied, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.’

28 “The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. 29 But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. 30 But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!’

Oh, The Prodigal Son parable. The father loves both sons nevertheless but the older son only wanted his father's inheritance.

Actually it was the younger son who wanted that. In those days custom, asking your father for inheritance while he is still alive is like asking him to go DIE immediately. It's an insult and yet this Father came running to Him while he came back with the intention to be hired as a servant so that he has food for his stomach.

Terrible right? And Yet the Father loves him.

The older Brother on the other hand "seems" to be faithful and yet complained in the end.
