Wah, why suddenly everybody want to use BC? lol

Anyway, anyone interested to get BC can contact me.

Breeder celect has 2 types. There is one that I use which is pelleted and meant for cats. There is another version by the same company made for small animals. This one is called Back 2 Nature, B2N for short. This two beddings are popularly used in Singapore and the stock for it is brought in from Singapore.

Both are made from recycled newspaper and I find the quality and odour control very good. Very much recommended.

Of the beddings that I've tried

Quality-wise
BC Cat litter- 8/10
Woody Pet - 7/10
Kaytee Aspen Shavings - 5/10
Dr. Harry's - 5/10
Sluis Comfort bedding - 2/10

Odour Control-wise
BC Cat litter - 8/10
Woody Pet - 9/10
Kaytee Aspen - 4/10
Dr. Harry's - 6/10
Sluis comfort bedding - 4/10

Well, for these types of bedding, you can check it out at Pet Safari.... Dunno lah, I hate Woody Pet.... but I like Careline Wood pellet cat litter LOL.... BC so far so good for my gerbils that are allergic to wood shavings...

Anyway. new thread in the making... will open it once completed. First page of new thread is gonna be information page so it would be best to post something informative in the 1st page. Easier for new hamster owners to read.

Woody pet got a strong wood smell... stronger than wood shavings hahahah... so I dun really like lah... Careline the woody smell is milder. Both kind of pellets absorb pee very well. I also like careline coz cheaper by Rm2.... yah... I know rm2 very little but then every ringgit is important to me... hehehehhe....

Woodt Pet and Careline wood pellet cat litter acts the same. Both are equally good at absorbing pee and the urine smell. They are better than corn cob bedding.

In my opinion, breeder celect is better for long term use.. like for rodents where you change the bedding once in 1 or 2 weeks...woody pet I think better for rabbits litter box. But the priceof BC ...aiyo... expensive.

My friend with Syrians said that if you toilet train your Syrian, you only need to change the BC once a month or even 2 months.

Yah... BC is better... but the price... too bad I can't use it for all my rodents... only those with allergies. But BC won't work on rats... their pee stink so bad, sure pengsan.... so my rats use Litter Star silicon pellet cat litter... rm13 1 bag... but at least can last me 3 weeks rather than change wood shavings every 2 days. Luckily hamster not that bad yet hahahah....

All hamsters can be trained to use toilets... but they won't necessary use it all the time. Place a toilet hut(you can buy from petshops) normal brands are like habitrail lah. Just fill it with cat litter sand or hamster bath sand, they will then see it as a toilet to pee and poo. Hamsters like corners so they will always pee at the corners of their tanks or cages. Yes, you have to train from young coz it is out of habit. How to train? Hahaha... i just put the bedding that is wet with pee inside the toilet hut.... then the hamster will know where to do. But not every hamster will follow this since my Caesar who used to use his toilet, now he doesn't want to use it anymore.
