what kind of hammy u have? is it Rc? Hm...my Rc never react like that before... BUt i saw Gerbils do that, especially when they alert on something, such as danger or after they shocked due to loud sound

house lizard? ERm..maybe the lizard itself doesnt harm the hammy, but Im affraid if they (lizard) carry around with them a fungus. U know what i mean? THe woodchips / beddings in hammy cages contained with a some moiture content (scientifically: Water activity) in which suitable for the growth of fungus.

The issues here is, the hammy might inhalled the spores of those fungus and it can cause the diseases especially those related with lung diseases.

So it is neccesary to make sure the cage / tank is clean and the moisture content in the cage must be monitored routinely

Cooked or not? Hm..my uncle have one bad experience...

He feed his hammy with those raw chicken internal organ..maybe kidney..actually not him feed those hammy but his doughter. Previously, all the hammy are tame...very tame. After feed them with chicken, not all, but some of his hammy turn into agressive and tend to bite their own owner.

anybody face the same situation? So, right now, Im not feed my hammy with meat..mealworm is acceptable

More specific, it is called cheeck pouch ...the mommy will store most the food in that pouch and bring the food to hers baby

Hi guys, i never see the Chinese hamster...i just got refer to the 1st page, and Im shocked...Chinese Hamster got longer tail compared to Rc?



Other things that i can see is, theyre more smaller than RC..but the colour pattern is same...rite?

Are they more tame compare to RC? Because in my experience, Rc are very varies between agressive and tame, and it is depend on their owner

Hm..Im looking for someone who want to trade their hammy with me. I have one male Rc, in black colour ages about 5 weeks. late i'll post it pic

Yeah they will..its better to get a pair of siblings (pair of same sex), and the inbreed between siblings should be avoided due to unhealthy offsprings will born.
