Hey guys...
Wanna raise up a question here.. As our Sifu here said...most of the hamster should be kept alone in a cage... It is always not advisable to keep 2 or more hamster together in a cage coz they will fight or etc....especially syrians.. So..my question here is....those petshop usually will put their hammies together in the big tank or aquarium... So....how shud we explain this... juz suddenly this thingy pass through my mind and i would like to ask... no offence... |

BlueHeng : Ants really can kill hammies...but matured hammies i am not sure...
Last time my syrians gave birth...around 5 of them... Then I keep my eyes on those babies so that they are safe... then one morning..i woke up...one of the baby is covered with bunch of red ants.. ( died after that ) Luckily only one....But..Those ants chose the CUTEST one.. Sad for few days man..... So..my advice to you is put ur cage in a cleaner place... or if can...put a pail of water underneath ur cage...so that those ants cant go over to the hammies living... Dien : Thanks for ur PM... QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Feb 19 2007, 09:24 PM) Hamsters sometimes freeze in moments... like go blur and dazed a bit... it's normal lah coz it occurs sometimes... it even occurs in gerbils and rabbits, not a sign of peeing.... The peeing after it freeze or during the dazing period means it's scared till pee lah hahahahahah... kena gigit by so many animals ar?Hamsters do bite... and if they bite, it is not fatal but it would be wise to get a tetanus shot. If you already gotten that injection, make sure it is not more than 3 years got the tetanus vaccine will die out in 3 years in the body. Anyway, once a hamster bites you, just wash with water and soap, wash with dettol also and apply a plaster... I have been bitten numerous times by not only hamster but many MANY animals... nothing ever happened to me coz I make sure I have tetanus injection. no wonder infront of ur nick there state "crazy" juz kidding... kena gigit by tarantula before or not? if got share experience ler... |
