i repair phones, customers send in phones with water damage and i check and see whether can revive or not. usually chances are below 30% as customers have tried to turn on the phone while its still wet thus frying important ic (power ic, network ic etc..) in the phone

2. dry it
3. leave 1 day in uncooked rice

this gives the phone more than 80% chance

I bet 99% are device fault.

1. ori sony set - passed the pressure test - can claim warranty
2. ap sony set - AP dont give a fark - no warranty

3. other brands - usually no warranty despite saying splash proof etc...

ap set= no warranty

If im not mistaken Z ultra ori set now only rm1099. Not much diff with ap set.

1. wait till lcd drop price

2. use with mhl cable to your LED TV via hdmi (assuming lcd spoil only)

3. look for units that have been wrongly flashed (very rare indeed)
