NOTE: hard impact to the bezel or removing the back cover will render the water proof seals useless. try avoid water after repair

Anyway, excessive heat will remove the back panel? So,can our hot weather make thew glue wears off? sweat.gif
*
its not like you put your phone under direct sunlight for 30 mins.

or if you wanna experiment

leave your phone on your (untinted car) dashboard for 30 mins under direct sunlight, the glue should be soft enough to remove the back cover ald

Is Sony's service centre workmanship reliable? My phone got sent back for warranty b4, then changed the mobo. I'm sure they have to remove one of the glass panels. Not sure if it's still waterproof. doh.gif
*
even new units may have leak. yours has been repaired b4, the chances of water leak is high

P.S if i wanted the waterproof function, i would sell off the old 1 and get new. just my opinion

every week? shocking.gif..how can?human fault or device fault?
how u settle then?
*
i repair phones, customers send in phones with water damage and i check and see whether can revive or not. usually chances are below 30% as customers have tried to turn on the phone while its still wet thus frying important ic (power ic, network ic etc..) in the phone

So,are the chances high to revive the phone if we dry the phone completely first before on it. 50-50?
*
1. take out battery.
2. dry it
3. leave 1 day in uncooked rice

this gives the phone more than 80% chance
