Got this guide fr somewhere, Enjoy.

Author: Unknown

To begin, I play a troll shaman. My spec is 30/0/21, so that's the point of view from which this guide is written. In my opinion, there is absolutely no better spec for PvP (i don't really agree biggrin.gif).

1. The Basics
Shaman are a fantastic PvP class, but they require a lot of split second microing in battle. Most people assume that all shaman do is chain, shock, repeat. While a lot of shaman do this, they are not taking advantage of the excellent power that is a shaman. Totems are your best friends, and if you don't believe me go watch a PvP video.

It is extremely important to use your heals in PvP. Create this macro, and put it on a good spot on your bar:

/target your name here;
/cast Lesser Healing Wave(Rank 6);
/script TargetLastEnemy();

If you don't comprehend what that does, it will target yourself, cast a quick heal on you (especially if you're speced well), and then retarget your last enemy. This has saved my life so many times; use it well and use it often.

Make sure you have your Rank 1 shock spells handy. There are a few reasons for this: they are much more mana efficient and they do their jobs (earth shock still interrupts, frost shock still slows, flame shock still keeps rogues unstealthed, etc.)

2. The Fighting
I'm gonna break this down as how to fight each different class.

Warrior: Try not to let him get in to hamstring you. Frost shock him, then back up and fire off a chain. Drop an Earthbind as he closes to melee, then Frost him again. You should be able to kite him throughout the whole fight.

Paladin: Use a strat similar to the warrior one. However, most pallies are noobs and will use their divine shields too early in the fight instead of using it as a way to heal. Whenever you see the shield go up, drop your earthbind, drop a searing totem, and go bandage up.

Rogue: These guys can be a problem, but your totems will save your arse. Keep Poison Cleansing totem up ALWAYS. If they target it, Frost Shock kite, earthbind, and drop another. You will need to use the macro heal right away if they get the jump on you, so earthbind them to get a chance to catch your breath. They are annoying creatures, but if you're smart, you'll always win.

Hunter: Feel free to ignore his pet. Drop your poison cleansing and your grounding totems. It's not well known, but grounding totems affect hunter's traps, and poison cleansing purges their stings. happy.gif Close to melee, frost shock, earthbind, pummel.

Mage: The only time a mage is gonna give you grief is if he uses counter-spell. There's a fun way to deal with this: begin to cast your hearth stone since it looks like a heal. When the mage counter-spells you, laugh at him a million times, and then continue the fight. Drop a grounding totem and earth shock him to keep him interrupted throughout the whole fight.

Priest: Drop a tremor totem right off the bat, followed immediately by a grounding. This will prevent him from ever getting to fear you. Shadow priests are going to be your bane, but with the right earth shocks you can keep them interrupted. Also, purge constantly to keep their buffs off. (Priests' shields CAN be purged)

Warlock (oh god.): Just like priest, tremor and grounding from the start. Then you can proceed to cry because most good locks will wipe the floor with you. If they have their felpuppies out, do your best to keep them interrupted, but it's gonna be a hard fight. Like hunters, you should completely ignore their pets. However, I like to earthbind the pets and close to melee on the locks. This keeps them interrupted, especially since they can't fear you. Don't forget to drop a rank 1 searing totem to keep spells interrupted for even longer. Good luck. >_<

3. Extra Stuff
a. Don't forget about racial abils! They are all very good and can save your life. Don't hesistate to use them!

b. Nature's Swiftness: another enormous lifesaver. Here's a fantastic macro I picked up somewhere:

/target your name here
/cast Nature's Swiftness
/cast Healing Wave(Rank 9)

You will have a massive health regain instantly, and mages can't counterspell it since it happens so fast. Just make sure to press the macro button twice so both spells cast (the Swiftness cooldown will make the macro jump to the second spell :])

IMO, this guide is very basic and does not cover a lot of important things.

The basics:

Make sure u install spellalert or enemycastbar so u can use earth shock to interrupt spell effectively.

Warrior:

Use a shield!
He will charge and hamstring u right away. So u need to use pvp trinket to get out of hamstring then frost shock him, drop earthbind totem and kite him. How do u kite? U need to use the Q/E button to run away and then use your mouse to rotate the camera in a way that your char will always face the opponent while u running. Why u need to do this? Coz Q/E button is RUNNING in side way A,D is just WALKING. Also u need to always face the opponent so that u can shock them, shock needs u to face your opponent.

Actually u can out melee a warrior if your gear is ok. I can out melee most epic warrior with my rank10 pvp gear except those who has hand of rag or askandi.
Drop stoneskin n magma totem n then just melee + earthshock. Heal yourself when ur hp down to 50%. I think u will be able to beat a lot of warrs.

Pally:

Use shield unless u have good 2 hander weapon.
Ok i think what that guide told us is down to useless against a pally who know what he is doing. The key to beating a good pally is mana efficiency.
Do not drop any totem except earthbind. Just melee with them n don't do any shock except rank1 earthshock to interrupt their heals. Heal urself when u r down to 30-50% hp n u need to drop grounding totem b4 u heal urself so that the pally can't stun u while u try to heal. And u can use healing wave here to conserve more mana coz the pally cant interrupt ur heals with grounding totem on.

Grr... i m abit lazy to write the remaining classes. I think there's a lot a lot more details for shaman pvp which is totally left out at tht guide.
I recommend checking out some shaman pvp movies:

1) Sham - best shaman kiting skill
http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=4079

2) Ueunaydar - best shaman in my server, i never saw him lose a duel, superb timing on shocks n totem use
http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=2091

Btw, i am gonna roll a Dranei Shaman in exp. SHAMAN FOR LIFE thumbup.gif
