Hi Everyone,

Just thought I'd share my incident with you all. Over the weekend me and wifey went to celebrate our anniversary in changkat and subsequently booked a room at a hotel at Jalan Mesui, Changkat Bukit bintang. I'm removing the name of the hotel until pending investigation is over.

While we were in the room, we caught one guy peeping through our window, and i quickly hit the window and tried to open the door to see who is it but he fled before i could catch him!

I went down f*cking the management up, and the operations manager, called their staff down and apparently their bangla staff was not supposed to be there after 8pm but they were still hanging around, and one of them was missing as well!

I demanded the cctv footages as there was once cctv right above my room door, but they conveniently said due to technical issues their cctv couldnt record since 3 mths ago! I think they trying to cover line.

I've since made a police report as well, and contacted my lawyers but my lawyers couldnt really advise me on this as they never encountered such an issue. I also saw one more couple posting the same thing on tripadvisor that they also saw a peeping tom at their room window.

I suspect its one of their bangla cleaning staff, but now i have no proof and cant do much! I want to sue the owner for negligence, but we'll see how that goes, anyone who knows any lawyers that have experience dealing with this situation please pm me.

I just want you all to know!

p/s the name of the hotel is also the same name as the road. go figure

thx

if you have the police report, pls post it here

otherwise, most ppl will only see this as baseless accusations

anyone knows any lawyer that has experience with this issue before? Mine said he isn't familiar with this, so he can't give me a proper advice.

I think the hotel is negligent in this case, if someone were to rape my wife and kill us both in the room, are they still going to give an excuse that cctv got technical issues and they got no recording of it!

you can see on their fb page also another guy posted the same incident but he had no proof.

*edit
will keep the name of hotel private until investigation is over. thx

pm me if you want the name of the place

I suggest you write in tripadvisor of your experience, that gains so much traction, so much more than a police report and will gain so much exposure in short amount of time.

and ask the other person to write there as well.
