Stopped GW2 bout a year already, might just come back for this

They are bringing back Guild Hall, so make sure you in a guild ..maybe GvG can be made real

depends lol...if it was like the original gw2 ce, it wasnt worth it imo, i ended up just using ingame gold convert to gems for the heroic edition upgrade, which gives the ingame acc upgrades minus the rytlock statue.

but then again, its all about supporting anet lah...assuming the funds are going into the right direction

that Rytlock statue looks pretty good though. but still expensive for my wallet

its rly not that huge of a diff, trust me. Most of the vets dont even own the CE, those that own them dunno what happen jor, u will remember you experiences of the game u had ingame rather than the rytlock statue hahaha

March got GTA, May got Witcher 3.. Maybe after that.. Even though it's different game but since we need to buy the expansion... Yeah.. Probably late August or Mid September..

ive already lost the interest, its hard to keep yourself excited bout their new stuff when you are already bored with the current standard of the game lol. plus all my kaki dont seem to be playing

I haven't been playing for bout a year, went to try out Wildstar and went back to WoW but I haven't really played an "MMO" that is not gear progression based but rather "skill" progression, something like Ultima Online. Guess I'll just give it a shot.

you can come back and try the LS if it isint gem locked for your acc. honestly the LS did give me back some of the nice virgin feel i had back then when i started gw2. but it can only last that long....with so many changes that i didnt expect, it starts turning you off.

Mine are gem locked Except for the latest one which I'm playing now. I stopped after the big change so I guess there's not much for me to cope.

Only after playing Wildstar and WoW again and then on to GW2 occasionally that I realise how clunky the character animations are in GW2

But still it's the most beautiful one.

gw2 has best combat mechanics most fluid.
no other mmorpg comes close.

also, structured player versus player has skill based pvp and not gear based.
can't find that anymore else.

rly ler, nowadays getting repetitive, i went on a hiatus again, later when new stuff come out again i come back again

im back to warframe and dota2 1st, since its less time consuming for a quick game.

tbh i hated the hotjoin removal, sucks queuing for a simple quick pvp...

to be honest, all games are repetitive one.

cs go = shoot people
tf2 = shoot people
dota 2 = kill people

wow = grind grind grind
etc

i dunno about you but the average queue time for a dota 2 game can be much longer than gw2, and the chance of getting teamed up with annoying pinoys is also very high. plus, an average game of dota 2 can be from 30 minutes to more than one hour.

gw2 spvp conquest mode on the other hand, each game average 10 minutes ...

and hotjoin is still there, you just need to use the game browser if you want to change game rooms.

You too hardcore la bang... I've taken like a year's rest and I've kept on coming back to this game for some casual fun. The less time I have for gaming, the better this game gets.

Played since launch, still at 4k AP only.

I'm curious what changes turned you off though? the NPE? because that's the most sour thing recently happened that even I felt the change was stupid.

GW2 has very nice fluid combat. Mechanics wise I think I can't choose which one I prefer more, between Wildstar and GW2. But I was talking about character animations lol, Wildstar and WoW devs seem to have the most experience in dealing with this.

And as for SPVP, I like it a lot, because it's like Quake or Unreal Tournament but in RPG form. Skill based yes but so are the other MMO's pvp too.
