Went to shop just now, wanting to find Android unit. The person introcused me to audiolab or something like that. Say this thing is mounted internally inside the car. So will not see the box. The box is about the size of Galaxy S2 only slightly thicker. Then the DIN unit has to have a AUX input which has video in. Then you pair with bluetooth. Sounds slightly cumbersome, but this is the method he says to get your phone to the dash. Not sure why don't you get a kenwood/pioneer/sony unit with mirrorlink/mhl built in and via USB cable. I do like native, rather than have the maps disappear when taking calls.
BTW, will work in all, but in Suprima and Citra (IINM he told me), some functions will be lost. Suprima, front sensors. Citra, the reverse sensor with distance indicator since need to change DIN unit.
Has anyone trie this audiolab unit?
Has anyone tried Audiolab?, Mirrorlink via audiolab
