How to backup songs from iPod to PC/Mac?, Any idea?

I have problem with my iPod, some song is soft while others are damn loud till my earphones going to blowup, really annoying... so any idea how to backup my songs and stuff from my iPod to my PC/Mac so that I can restore/update this iPod?

Use anapod , and copy all the songs out .

To backup songs from iPod to a MAC, use Senuti. It's a great tool!
