oh...envy lo...haha...have a husky pup...wonderful...i do love to have another one..to accompany my husky...but wait i have my own house first tongue.gif

when they shed...the "real" furminator does help...i've ask those professional groomer...they actually told me that those imitation furminator (which you can buy it at Pet Safari in Ikano) can't really work...i mean of course the real is the best...but too bad it is not sold in Malaysia...so i get help from a friend of my in Singapore to buy it for me...

enjoy every moment with your husky pup...because they are naughty and adorable... tongue.gif love and hate.....hahaha

I pick up my female black + silver + white husky last night and brought her home. It's been a long time since we had any puppy at home.

Unlike my other dogs, she really whines and howls a lot. Probably not howl but yawn loudly and long almost like crying, so we took her out of the cage and let her sleep in the master bedroom toilet.

How do you train to let your dog sleep in the cage alone? I am quarantining her away from my other dogs until she get her vaccinations. Husky expert please advise.

i am not a husky experts although i own a husky tongue.gif

she howls because it was her first night at a place which is very new to her...new environment...give her some time...my husky only howls for 1 night...then she become as active and happy as ever ^^

and i don't think many dogs love to sleep in cage...they might feel afraid or isolated...do let her roam freely in the house or a room if you don't mind...

enjoy with your pup ^^

Hi there,

My friend is a user of Kudi Pet, and her dog is a GSD. And two of her friends are using it too, each owns an Alaskan malamute and 3 golden retrievers respectively.

She says both her experience and her friends’ experience have been positive so far, that it does work. Her dog was shedding lots of hair in the month of August. Her friend then suggested she use Kudi Pet, which she did. Her dog hair shedding problem has been minimized and is now much better since then with constant combing.

She said she has not tried the “original furminator”. So she can’t really compare. But Kudi pet has worked for her so far.

Comments from her friends are the same. They told her they can even see the super fine hair when they comb their dogs, which minimizes the problem of hair flying around and sticking to their working pants. So she assumes they have no complaints so far.

She says the only drawback is the constant removal of hair from the tool only after combing 2 times. It’s quite hectic. Other than that, it’s been performing well. rclxms.gif

Yes, I think it's of environment that is causing the late night howling but we will encourage it to sleep in the cage tonight and see what goes. I brought it to vaccination today but vet turned me down and told me to come back next week after she settled onto our home.

Dogs love to sleep in cage like how humans love to sleep in their respective room, privacy reasons, security reasons, all the like.

if you wanted to have your dog to sleep in cage, you must ignore all her crying. IF you did it once, she will repeat again whenever you lock her up.

It's easier said than done to ignore all her crying because it is very disturbing and loud and some times I feel wanna push her cage into the store room but ventilation is poor there. Oh well, just have to bear with it I guess.

yes, it true that it is very disturbing. one way to made it less noisy is to put some toys inside the cage to stop her. by the way to tell you last time i bear for 3 days of husky howling in my house but stop later when it know that i will open the cage let her out on the morning. what lucky me is that most of my family are heavy sleeper, they say they did not hear any voice in the night. guess is lucky for me. notworthy.gif

it's true that dogs love to sleep in their respective room, privacy reasons, security reasons. why not let him pick his spot to sleep?

I have a cage, and the cage's door is always open but my dog never sleeps inside.

I found the reason why Nico, my new husky is howling at night. It is because she poo and pee, she wants people to clean up. After you clean up, you are allowed to sleep, else you will suffer my wrath, my howling!!

I'm From perak and I have a 8 weeks old huky puppy. Its a cute male. so im just searching if there are other huskies in ipoh. Maybe when snowy is old enough, they can breed or maybe they can spend time playing. Puppies love company, especially with other dogs which they can play with(My snowy goes crazy and fun around other dogs.. =))
