Hi guys... Been following this thread since last week.. Very informative n fun to read ..

Soon.. M gonna b a new owner of Soul Red Sedan. Booked a day b4 launch day and juz now SA told me that i will get to inspect my car on March 23.

Juz wondering is that combined FC of 5.2L/100km achievable? Or juz on paper claim only?!!!

Mainly, i opt for M2 is for its design and good FC. SA claimed that its FC gonna be much better than M3 and City.

From what i learned from the FC reported by owner in this thread... Not even close to the claimed figure which is quite worrying.. I expect at least close to M3.

Now the excitement is a bit mellow dy... Hmmm..

Anyway, is there any body kit for M2 Sedan yet? Working on budget allocation while waiting for the car.. what to add on and such.

wonder how my current tank will fare... mine is about 60% HW, 40% city
did u activate the walk way auto lock under settings via the MZD Connect system?
ya someone did post this b4 on this thread...
what is the M3 claimed and real FC? thought 1.5l should be better than 2.0l?  unsure.gif

anyway, no way to get same FC figure as the official figures but i believe can get close to it if u are light footed on the throttle, which im not some of the time lol tongue.gif

SA claimed M3 combined FC ave 17km/L for mostly city driving.. Huhuu... Sure tempting when SA said the FC for M2 gonna be better than M3..

I do mostly city driving on daily basis.. 70-80% city ave 100km/day.. So good FC would be a plus to me.

After all... fell in love with the HB from the very first time viewing it.. for its design, driving dynamics and simplicity drool.gif

Me and best fren did actually go to few Mazda showrooms for test driving before we change our mind to get the Sedan instead.. We need the boot space for our daily work. thumbup.gif

Cannot be just for the driving experience maaaaaa.

My buying points were these:

1) Just to be different(non toyota,honda)
2) The initial looks with the LED projector
3) That RED!
4) Rave reviews about the handling and Jinba ittai claim. Best handling hatchback I tested just behind the Fiesta Ecoboost.
5) The impressive FC which was quoted at 4.9L/100km
6) The interior
7) New Engine unlike Honda's(using old I-vtec instead of Earth Dream engine) or Toyota's

Setbacks which I Swallowed.
1)Space
2)Space
3)Space
4)Only 2 cupholders
5)Only 2 cupholders
6)Only 2 cupholders

Exactly!!! brows.gif

Totally agree with the buying points thumbup.gif

Any soul red sedan owner has painted the front grill like the HB?
Went to showroom again juz now to submit the NCD withdrawal letter frm previous insurance.. Did ask one of the SA bout to get the paint job for the grill.. He said no such service available yet at the moment mad.gif

I got quoted for rm750 for quartz  wonder what is the different in terms of coating.. if additional years then is understandable. haha
*
The following is the response given by Bro Chin:

Difference is hardness and durability. Nano is 7H hardness with 18 mth warranty, Quartz is 9H with 36 mth warranty. Platinum is 9H( with extra layer) 5 year warranty.

He will be joining this thread soon to explain further smile.gif
